Good evening friends.
Ramadan feast today. But we can't go out, cannot visit our families. We are looking for different occupation at home. In this context I want to share another trip with you on this beautiful day.
We continue the east tour. Our stop today is Van. So Paris of the east.
First of all I want to show Muradiye waterfall. It gives people peace of mind.
Not too high for a waterfall.
You can camp here.
We turned our route to the lake after the waterfall. Van's breakfast is famous. Great breakfast with lake view.
These are murtuğa and kavut.
There is also an island in the lake. After breakfast we went to the island by boat. Snowy mountains accompanied us.
And Akdamar Church among the green.
The church was built between 915-921 by Architect Manuel. It is considered one of the brightest works of medieval Armenian art. It was built of red andesite stone. source
