RE: Finally visited Chichén Itzá

in TravelFeed2 years ago

Chitzen itza is one of the most and easiest accessible ruins, ant that's why is't so touristic... I liked more Uxmal and Edzna, where one can climb as well the pyramids :-) That's obviously impossible and uncontrollable because of the hugh masses of tourists over there...
No picture from the Ball game area? I think it's funny / interesting to see how the rings are situated, where the Mayans had to try to throw the ball through... !PIZZA !CTP

I heard about the other ruins in Uxmal and Edzna, however because of the lack of time we were unable to visit them.

I only have videos of the ball game. However, I did take a picture in Coba of the ball game area. I’ll try and edit the picture into this post.

No worries, I was just wondering.
About the lack of time... That's exactly why so few people are visiting these sites. They're not so easily reachable (time wise) and people tend to opt for Chitzen Itza. I'm happy that I made my program like I did and that I took a car (I saw several people more than once after a while; they were travelling by bus and took a lot more time to get to certain sites or cities and had to omit some of the beautiful places we've been visiting...) !CTP
