A big tradition for many Finns is having their first coffee in Spring in the market on the waterfront in Helsinki. The Finnish name for the market in question is called the "Kauppatori" which means shopping market.
The main reason Finns feel the need to go to coffee in Spring is because after the cold winter freeze they want to be able to sit outs
