sometimes my engagement is absolutely non-existent. That's part of the reason I started this initiative.. you know, to kick my own butt into gear :p lol
It's a skill to kick your own butt. I love to engage sometimes but then I have also lazy times. No posts and no engagement at all. I hate it when it feels like I have to do it. I don't understand how some people post every day. How do they do that? Where do all the topics come from? That's a skill I don't have.
I got into a really good pattern and then the value of everything tanked and my rewards were kike a quarter of what they used t be. It's been hard to stay motivated. I think I did like 2 posts for the whole of the last month.
Two isn't really much. The rewards are another story. No wonder that so many people shift completely to Inleo. I post more threads than normal long posts. Threads are fast and easy and I think that is what most people like about it. Also seeing that the Hive price is dropping and LEO is pushing after they got rid of the inflation makes me believe that some people are just using threads and don't do long posts at all. At least I saw some profile without any blog posts. I'll try to do both but like you said, it is hard to stay motivated.
yeah... people tend to be gravitating toward short from content. The appreciation towards longform content has definitely dropped.
