ENGLISH VERSION
Latin America has a very rich and interesting culture, with many interesting and striking festivals that are even a reason to visit as a tourist to witness these festivities.
One of the countries with one of the richest and most widespread cultures in Latin America and the world is Mexico, with its rancheras and mariachi bands, which are so common at many festivals and which are the favorite gift—a serenade with mariachis—to express love to a loved one.
In addition to its cuisine, such as tacos and spicy foods, which are also known in many parts of the world, one of the most widespread and unique customs is the Mexican holiday known as the Day of the Dead, which pays tribute to the dead.
It is a traditional celebration, declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, where families gather to remember and honor their loved ones who have passed away.
This mural, located near the Bellas Artes metro station, is a tribute to Mexican culture. It features various elements of the Day of the Dead, celebrated on November 1 and 2. It also features Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter famous for her self-portraits, which explored themes of pain, identity, and Mexican culture. Her life was marked by a serious bus accident that left her with permanent injuries, and a complicated relationship with muralist Diego Rivera.
I hope you like it. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.
