Last week I looked at Stencil art, for this edition #208 of CCC's Street Art Contest I'm going to focus on Graffiti Fonts. Also known as street fonts, they are styles of typography introduced into graffiti art in the 70s.
They started out as simple graffiti tags and signatures and have become a way of expressing emotions, thoughts, reflections and slogans.
They are powerful weapons of communication with dynamic and bold aesthetics, full of color and unique styles, sometimes with designs that mesmerize. They have evolved in complexity and diversity of styles and fonts.
There are several styles of graffiti fonts, classified by various characteristics based on their artistic and visual styles. The most popular:
Molotow, irregular shapes with sensations of movement, imitating brushstrokes.
Punch, a bold and solid block font, geometric, simple and legible.
Dripstone, for those who want to create eye-catching graffiti, produces the effect of paint running down the letters. Good for slogans.
Cans, a font with a more complex design that requires more attention as it has tangled lines, sometimes with arrows and connections between the letters. The font is classic but with a wild style.
Montana, a stencil font with uniform, clean shapes. Quick to make by cutting and spraying.
Graffiti fonts are in the field of design, art and urban communication. They add rebellion to artworks and their unique styles easily catch everyone's eye.
PLAY. As time is short and the universe of cryptos is volatile, it didn't allow me to make some graffiti fonts for you. So I turned to the "Graffiti Name Logo Maker" app, available on the Play Store, and brushed up these three fantastic works of art 😀 😂

Na semana passada debrucei-me sobre a arte do Stencil, para esta edição #208 da CCC's Street Art Contest vou focar nas Graffiti Fonts.
Também conhecidas por fontes de rua são estilos de tipografia introduzidos na arte do graffiti nos anos 70.
Começou como simples etiquetas e assinaturas dos graffitis para passarem a ser formas de expressão de emoções, pensamentos, reflexões e palavras de ordem.
São poderosas armas de comunicação com estéticas dinâmicas e arrojadas, cheias de cor e de estilos únicos por vezes com designs que hipnotizam. Foram evoluindo na complexidade e diversidade de estilos e fontes de letras.
Há vários estilos de fontes de graffiti, classificadas por várias características com base nos seus estilos artísticos e visuais. Os mais populares:
Molotow, formas irregulares com sensações de movimento, imitando pinceladas.
Punch, tipo de letra em bloco arrojado e sólido, geométrica, simples e legível.
Dripstone, para quem quer criar graffiti bem apelativo, produz efeito de tinta a escorrer pelas letras. Bom para palavras de ordem.
Cans, tipo de letra com design mais complexo que exige mais atenção pois tem linhas emaranhadas, por vezes com setas e ligações entre as letras. A letra é clássica mas com estilo selvagem.
Montana, estilo de letra stencil com formas uniformes e limpas. Rápidas de fazer através do recorte e pulverização.
As fontes de graffiti estão no domínio do design, da arte e da comunicação urbana. Dão rebeldia às obras e os seus estilos únicos facilmente cativam o olhar de todos.
BRINCADEIRA. Como o tempo é escasso e o universo das cryptos está volátil, não me permitiu fazer umas fontes de graffiti para vocês. Então recorri à App “Graffiti Name Logo Maker”, acessível na Play Store, e pincelei estas três obras de arte fantásticas 😀 😂
