Singapore, a town of street art - Part 4

in StreetArtlast year

Today we are back in Singapore, Potentially not a place you think about when you think about street art, but it has a lively scene

In fact we are in a tight concentrated area called Kampong Glam

It is unusual to see Art Deco inspired street art, this isn't a random tagger done good, this is more of a mural than a piece of art speaking to the streets or the time, but it is pretty

These piece is unusual, part paste up part painting, but I like how they speak to each other

It's unusual to see photography in a street art setting, but this is stunning, the work is amazing, the setting even better, I like the national geographic style yellow borders, and the motorcycle just sets it all off.

This giant mural is so giant, well it's hard to photograph in the skinny laneways but great pop art vibes in this one

This one isn't technically in Kampong Glam but rather in Haji lane, usually there a thousand tourists sitting and standing here, eating, one assumes mexican food and drinking poor beers.

And the final piece, part sculpture, part year 12 art project, part stolen lyrics from famous songs, but weirdly it all kind of works

Great selection of Street Art especially the one in the "skinny laneways". Street Art is everywhere, even in Singapore 😀. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
