Greeting to all a good day. The city of Yogjakarta is a special city led by Sultanate, Yogjakarta city is one of the culture cities. Malioboro street is a place visited by many local and foreign tourist.
Currently, along Malioboro street,the atmosphere is different, there are several sculptures by artist from around this city. I tried walking along malioboro street and saw the arstistic statue, convey the message of works of art do not diminiss the characteristics of Yogjakarta.
One of which is a female worker who is carrying a women in a traditional container, is a way to over come the hard ships of life.
A sculpture in the form of a colorful chick, this statue conveys the message that there are various characters and the diversity of people who pass through Malioboro street.
Sculpture in the form of a whell barrow, coneying the message about traditional food and drink treaders or Angkringan with a populist atmosphere, visitor can eat eat and can also kerokan, visualized as Petruk (wayang) and spidermen.
This sculpture is the appearance of the figure of a royal soldier wearing traditional clothing ranging from shirt, the expression and message conveyed while guarding the entrance to the palace.
Sculpture works in the form of eating utensils such as spooms, forks,knives are made from stainless steel which is quite simple. This cutlery sculpture art conveys a message about culinary and history which start here.
