For this post I chose a very emotional one, since it is a tribute to the bravest women of my town. ¨Las ¨cautivas¨ ¨correntinas¨ :
Nuestra provincia tiene pasos fronterizos que nos conectan con varios países, esta condición nos ha hecho vulnerables, y en consecuencia muchas veces tuvimos que defender la ¨soberanía¨ del pueblo. En estas tantas ocasiones de guerra, cinco mujeres correntinas fueron víctimas y fueron cautivadas por soldados, por esa razón es que a estas mujer se las conoce como ¨Las ¨cautivas¨ : mujeres indefensas que nada tenían que ver con los intereses de la guerra, es por eso que la ciudad les brinda homenaje con este hermoso mural, donde se puede apreciar todo lo que tuvieron que pasar mientras fueron ¨privadas¨ de su ¨libertad¨

Our province has border crossings that connect us with several countries, this condition has made us vulnerable, and consequently we often had to defend the "sovereignty" of the people. In these many occasions of war, five Corrientes women were victims and were captivated by soldiers, for that reason these women are known as ¨Las ¨cautivas¨ : defenseless women who had nothing to do with the interests of the war, that is why the city pays tribute to them with this beautiful mural , where you can see everything they had to go through while they were “deprived” of their “freedom”
Este hermoso ¨mural¨: de gran superficie se halla en un lugar muy especial del ¨Parque¨¨Mitre¨ un paso casi obligado si estas de visita a la ¨Punta¨¨Mitre¨. En unas paredes del club que funciona internamente se halla este hermoso mural, por su gran superficie fue casi imposible hacer una toma de cerca, y tuve que hacer varios fragmentos de los diferentes pasajes de la obra

This beautiful ¨mural¨: of large surface area is located in a very special place in the ¨Park¨¨Mitre¨ an almost obligatory step if you are visiting to the ¨Punta¨¨Mitre¨. On the walls of the club that operates internally is this beautiful mural. Due to its large surface it was almost impossible to take a close-up shot, and I had to make several fragments of the different passages of the work
La obra pertenece a un grupo de talentosos artistas, cuya agrupación es conocido como ¨Arte¨¨Ahora¨: Desde hace muchos años este grupo de apasionados se pusieron como meta embellecer las calles de nuestra ciudad, y vaya que lo han logrado, al punto, que a la ciudad se la reconoce por su gran cantidad de ¨Street¨¨Art¨. Que genial es participar cada semana del ¨CCC's Street Art Contest¨: y un enorme placer acompañar nuestro amigo @digi-me.con murales significativos para todos los que vivimos en esta provincia. The work belongs to a group of talented artists, whose group is known as ¨Arte¨¨Ahora¨: For many years this group of passionate people have set themselves the goal of beautifying the streets of our city, and boy have they achieved it, to the point that the city is recognized for its large amount of “Street” Art. Me encantan los murales y mucho mas cuando tienen un trasfondo histórico como este.
El arte callejero le da tanta vida a los espacios urbanos, a mi me parece que en cierta forma los humaniza, así que si tu ciudad es conocida como la ciudad de los Murales debe ser muy interesante de visitar.

Es una ciudad muy bonita, y hay mucho por ver a pesar de ser pequeña, hay muchas obras en las calles, y todo comenzo hace un par de decadas, cuando doctores, personas del gobierno y artistas decidieron recuperar espacios publicos que estaban abandonados, fue asi que nos apodaron de esa manera.
Lo que me gusta de las obras, es que en gran parte representan a la historia de nuestro pueblo, el cuidado de la fauna y la flora, y la concientizacion del medio ambiente
