I was back in Invercargill February of this year and hunted found four mural as travel to and from site. I could have missed this one as I only noticed it through my side mirror and had to reverse back for it.
I found it on 53 Mersey Street West, Invercargill. I am hardly ever a fan of the written mural, so the lady's face obviously stands out for me in this mural. Though I like the entire colors used.
I can't make up who the artist is from the wall, a Google image search told me the mural is from Christchurch, which is a complete lie. Google lies also if you don't know!
With this mural I am entering for this week's contest.

Great catch…
He was naughty hahaha 🤣
You are welcome.
Thanks Joe… I just finished the second layer of paint on the dining room floor 22m2. Now it needs to dry 7 days before I can put up the skirting boards and get the furniture back in. So tomorrow shopping again… and Wednesday I continue painting in the kitchen.
So much work, I am so tired Joe.
Enjoy your day.

Well done, now it's all about waiting then you move the furniture back in, you must be tired home renovation is not easy work from the experience of helping my ex boss in SA.
Time flies it's shopping for you again, time to go to the city 😊
Do take it easy and rest in between.
Have a good night sleep.
Thank you Joe 😊
I finished the kitchen walls and cabinets today.
The skirting boards have to wait until I start the wooden floor (sanding and painting)
Yes, soon the dining room is all finished.
Tomorrow I paint the walls of the hallway… they ceiling is already done by hubby.
Yes, it was a good drive. The shopping went well.
Now back to work again hahaha
I try to rest, but so much to do next to the renovations. Like cooking, researching things and doing taxes in 2 countries for last year hahaha as we move to much, I did finish those luckily now. Ach well… I hope I have time to post soon about the renovations.
In 3 weeks we go away for a few weeks… I will rest more then.
Have a good morning.

Good progress I think and great that hubby got the ceiling done considering it might strain your back, am being careful with back related straining work now.
Glad the drive for shopping went well.
Documentation is not easy and for some reason am getting tired of some documentation here that could help towards Residence when the time comes. I think running around for documentation all my life in South Africa is affecting me physiologically I feel uninspired to do it again but New Zealand is different so I try to encourage myself to do what I can do.
You must be looking forward to traveling in 3 weeks time to offer you some resting time also.
Good morning Jackie
Yes, I just can’t paint any ceiling anymore…
Good you are careful too now so it can slowly heal.
Oh I so know… every time we moved countries I had to start all over again. Some countries is fast but others take forever to gather all paperwork. Sometimes the bureaucracy is crazy and people behind the desks don’t know all rules.
I can imagine you feeling like that. Don’t give up Joe. NZ is indeed different. Keep going until you have it all done for your residency. It is important. Is it 5 years to gather all for permanent residency? In europe it is, you get first temporary 5 years. Or 1 year you have to renew each year. Depending on visa.
Hubby has it here in Europe. (Now the UK left Europe) After 5 years he can go for permanent. But… hahaha we moved out of Ireland after 1 year so had to start here in the north again and we will move this year again. So the next EU country he will have to start from 0 again.
One thing I don’t like about moving countries, all the paperwork involved and all the time you put into it to get it sorted.
Yes, Joe. I can’t wait. No more strain on my body.
A bit of rest and just being. Exploring a new area and sunshine… spring weather. I so need a break.
We have to take 3 flights hahaha as from up here in the north we can’t go in one or even 2 flights to southern France. So a long traveling day.
Have a wonderful evening 😊

Somehow, I feel the portrait compliments well the written artwork on the wall, although the portrait is what's easier to discern for most of us :)
Wonderful find!!
Quite a great blend 👌 no doubt lol even the colors the woman's face just stand out for me I suppose 😄

Wow, this is a really amazing mural shot. The focus is on the woman, her gaze is so sharp. And it contrasts with the colorful letters.
Thank you I was more attracted to the woman so I tried to give it more focus 😊
