In this new post I share photos of a group of interesting murals (five in total) that I recently found in Antofagasta (Chile). One of the main features that captures the attention of the viewer is how the artists composed the paintings so that the place where is located is incorporated into the work. You can see that the paintings are on the walls of a hut. Notice how the artists incorporated the door and windows of the cabin into the composition of the mural. Some of these paintings have an interesting symbology.
Unfortunately the colors have lost its intensity due to the exposition to the sun and weather. For this reason I consider worthwhile publishing the black and white version of the photos.
Notice the dog house, located next to the murals. This is common situation in this city of the north of Chile.
En esta nueva publicación de esta semana comparto unas fotografías de unos llamativos murales de Antofagasta. Lo que mas llama la atención es como la composición de la obra se integra perfectamente al ambiente donde están pintadas, noten que es una cabaña y como el artista integró el diseño al espacio donde están ubicadas la puertas y ventanas de la edificación.
Realmente son cinco pinturas que comparten el mismo espacio y unas de ellas tienen una simbologías interesante. Lamentablemente los colores de las obras ha perdido intensidad por el tiempo en que han estado expuestas a la intemperie. Por eso considero pertinente mostrar las versiones en blanco y negro de las fotografías.
También llama la atención la casa para perro, ubicada en las cercanías de la obra, es frecuente ver este tipo de situaciones en esta ciudad del norte de Chile.
