Today I present other entry of my series of posts about the Street Art of Antofagasta (Chile). These photos show a series of murals located in a group of stairs. As you can see the street artists use almost every available wall for painting their works. We can say that these murals can be classified as “rebel street art”, which usually is done by teenagers, this type of street art, with its message of irreverence, is the one that gave origin to these genre.

Esta semana presento otra publicación de mi serie sobre el arte urbano de Antofagasta. En esta oportunidad las fotos corresponden a una serie de murales ubicadas en unas escalinatas. Como pueden ver los artistas aprovechan cualquier pared disponible para plasmar sus obras. Se pueden decir que los murales, corresponden al “arte urbano rebelde”, usualmente realizado por adolescentes, cuyo mensaje de rebeldía e irreverencia dieron origen a este genero.

I show the details of some of the paintings and also the complex we’re all the images are. Next to the color images I show a black and white version ( #colourblackandwhite), since I consider the resulting images quite interesting.

Muestro detalles de algunas pinturas y del conjunto donde están ubicados. Junto con las fotos en color también comparto las imágenes en blanco y negro ( #colourblackandwhite), ya que encuentro las imágenes resultantes bastante interesantes.

I used the camera of my cell phone a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Gimp for editing the images. During the editing process I did perspective correction.

Utilicé la cámara de mi teléfono celular un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra y Gimp como software para la edición de las imágenes. Durante este proceso, realice corrección de perspectiva.
