This is my second entry for the #streetart community, and it is found beneath a bridge known as B-32-100-81.
It's an odd three tunnel bridge that acts as a canal for flooding off of the local bluff. It's likely over-engineered, but it made sense for whatever reason back in the day. Having worked in a manufacturing setting for the past 15 years, I know a little bit about things "overengineered."
Like anything else concrete, it's a canvas for the artists. This area is no exception.
I found some more mushrooms...
I also think I found the Shoggoth...
Thank goodness for the "night mode" on my Droid camera. A lot of these photos were taking in very light; I tried to keep it steady but failed to bring my tripod. I wasn't expecting to be an astrophotography situation, you know?
The dark, the shadows, the cold, and plenty of water...glad to have brought the Scarpas along today.
Another wonderfully easy Friday afternoon urban exploration. I think I have next week's area already lined up to share. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. This flyover state has some gems here and there...and more to come.

Thanks again!
Such an interesting mix of art
A genuine question, is there a reason that things are overengineered?
Good question! I'm guessing access and the need to spend and collect taxpayer money, lol?
I thought it might be to do with money.
I was told by my physics professor a long time ago that the Germans don't need to repair roads because they are built so well. Here in the states, engineers are so smart they design everything to fall apart after a few years to keep the tax drip coming...no idea if that is true, but roads do tend to fall apart quickly.
It doesn't surprise me. I can remember back in the day, if you purchased electrical goods they would break down a few days after the guarantee ran out. Funny that. 😁
Good pictures @Sagesima ! i have been spraying buildings and concrete as a young "artist", i must say i was at my age a more talented artist than the barbarians that painted these "caves", haha!
Photos are lovely and your tone of post easy as that Friday walk! you also captured that and thnx for sharing the tranquility my firnd!
