"Against Forgetting" Street Art / Mural

"Against Forgetting" by the artist Akut. This mural / graffiti is to remind us that we should not forget the past and not let them repeat or still live in them. On the faces is written " We must remember the past, but must not live in this" " I have always lived in fear" . This is still reminiscent of the Second World War, but also suitable for the current time with Russia and Ukraine.

"Gegen das Vergessen" vom Künstler Akut. Dieses Mural / Graffiti soll uns daran erinnern das wir nicht die Vergangenheit vergessen sollen und sie auch nicht wiederholen lassen oder noch in sie leben. Auf die Gesichter geschrieben steht " Wir müssen uns an die Vergangenheit erinnern, aber dürfen nicht in dieser leben" " Ich habe immer in Angst gelebt" . Dies soll noch an den zweiten Weltkrieg erinnern, aber auch zur jetztiger zeit mit Russland und Ukraine passend.

Commissioned by City.Wall.Art. in cooperation Old fire station Mannheim, Montana Cans (official) and GBG - Mannheimer Housing association as well as the Mannheimer Cultural Office and the Innovationsfonds of the country Baden-Württemberg. This Mural was created in 2020 and was supplied by the company STO (manufacturer of paints, plasters, varnishes and coating systems and thermal insulation composite systems) and was all made with a lifting platform, lots of brushes, paint and paint rollers. Each mural that is from Stadt.Wand.Kunst has a background story.

Im Auftrag Stadt.Wand.Kunst in Kooperation Alte Feuerwache Mannheim, Montana Cans (official) und GBG - Mannheimer Wohnungsbaugesellschaft sowie dem Mannheimer Kulturamt und dem Innovationsfonds des Landes Baden-Württemberg. Dieses Mural entstand im Jahre 2020 und wurde von der Firma STO ( Hersteller von Farben, Putzen, Lacken und Beschichtungssystemen sowie Wärmedämmverbundsystemen) beliefert und wurde alles mit einer Hebebühne, jede menge Pinsel, Farbe und Farbrollen gemacht. Jedes Mural das von Stadt.Wand.Kunst ist hat einenen Hintergrund Geschichte.

Das Zeichen findet als Grußgeste und in grafischer Form als Emblem oder Logo Anwendung. Dieses Mural Graffiti findet ihr in der Mannheimer Quadraten F6 Hausnummer 5-6.
