¡Hola a todos! Para ésta semana vengo a participar con un grandioso mural (al menos para mí que me gustó mucho je je) que me conseguí ubicado en la conocida "plaza de los libros", en Venezuela-Barquisimeto. Voy a serles sinceros, tengo años pasando por esa plaza y nunca me había fijado en aquel mural, lo cual es raro ya que ¡Es enorme! (abarca 3 pisos). Creo que su poca visibilidad se debe, más que nada, a que se encuentra en una esquina, apartado y la mayoría de la gente no va más allá de los puestos de libros.
Hi everyone! For this week I come to participate with a great mural (at least for me that I liked a lot hehe) that I got located in the well-known "square of books", in Venezuela-Barquisimeto. I'll be honest with you, I've been going through that square for years and I had never noticed that mural, which is weird since it's huge! (covers 3 floors). I think its low visibility is due, more than anything, to the fact that it is in a corner, secluded and most people do not go beyond the bookstands.
Está muy despintado por el sol y los años. No sé cuando fue realizado, pero estoy casi segura de que tiene mucho tiempo, más que nada por el diseño, ambientado en varias historias como "La historia sin fin". Lo que más me emocionó fue que el artista que lo realizó, fue ACRYLIC SOULS, un artista que ya ha realizado varios murales que me encontrado en la ciudad. Me agrada mucho que ésta comunidad haya despertado en mí esa percepción para fijarme en las paredes en busca de los trabajos de artistas callejeros.
It is very faded by the sun and the years. I don't know when it was made, but I'm pretty sure it's been a long time, mostly because of the design, set in various stories like "The Endless Story." What moved me the most was that the artist who made it was ACRYLIC SOULS, an artist who has already made several murals that I have come across in the city. I am very pleased that this community has awakened that perception in me to look at the walls in search of the works of street artists.
Ciertamente tiene una mala ubicación, porque es difícil tomarle fotos de frente sin que unas estructuras con plantas, te bloqueen la visión. Por eso tuve que tomar la fotografía de costado para poder captarlo por completo. Sería genial que lo repintaran, ya que la plaza es un lugar conocido y hasta suelen hacer algunos eventos allí y está tan despintado que casi no se ve a lo lejos. Es triste que las personas pasen desapercibido algo tan genial. Me imagino cómo sería en la época en la que el artista lo dibujó.
It certainly has a bad location, because it is difficult to take photos from the front without some structures with plants blocking your vision. That's why I had to take the picture from the side to fully capture it. It would be great if they repainted it, since the square is a well-known place and they even do some events there and it is so unpainted that you can hardly see it in the distance. It's sad that people miss something so cool. I imagine what it would be like at the time the artist drew it.
De verdad me alegro de haber conseguido ésta comunidad, porque antes de llegar aquí, yo ignoraba el hermoso trabajo de los artistas callejeros por estar metida en mis preocupaciones 🥺 Ahora, cada vez que salgo a la calle, voy con la mentalidad de que puede ser que encuentre un dibujo que necesite ser fotografiado y darlo a conocer, es lo mínimo que puedo hacer 😳 Muchas gracias por haber leído mi publicación. I'm really glad to have achieved this community, because before arriving here, I was ignorant of the beautiful work of street artists for being involved in my worries Now, every time I go out, I go with the mentality that it can be that I find a drawing that needs to be photographed and make it known, is the least I can do 😳 Thank you very much for having read my publication. Beautiful work, especially the dragon... Always difficult to take pictures of the works, either garbage cans or cars in front or they're located in a very narrow and dark street. It's the same everywhere 😀 Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Este mural hace honor al nombre de la plaza, "Plaza de los Libros" y realmente transmite eso, el maravillo mundo al cual podemos acceder a través de la lectura, y si la combianamos con nuestra creatividad e imaginación, pasa a ser algo infinito. Como muchas de las obras de arte, estructuras, monumentos, etc. existentes en Venezuela, este mural tampoco escapó a la desidia y la ignominia de quienes deberían mantenerle. Pero ciertamente, debe haber sido una obra magnífica al inicio, pues aún conserva esa esencia, esa belleza y esos rasgos propios de un gran mural. Saludos.
Eso mismo pensé cuando lo noté, sin lugar a dudas el mural fue hecho para ese propósito y es una lástima de que a pesar de que los vendedores de libros sigan allí, las organizaciones competentes no hagan nada por mantener ese mural que tiene la esencia del sitio. Y es que así como esta nadie se fija en él, sus colores se pierden a lo lejos, me da mucha pena la verdad. Esperemos que en un futuro no muy lejano pueda ser restaurado, antes de que sea demasiado tarde y termine por desaparecer, como la gran parte de las obras en el país. Ojalá, pero lo cierto es que también hay mucha falta de civismo, sumado a la situación país que ha llevado al crecimiento del egoísmo personal... pero bueno, sólo nos queda ser positivos con referencia al futuro 😌 ¡Oh!
