When this bird was painted on the wall about 10 years ago, the colours still glowed. Over time, unfortunately, the façade has crumbled somewhat and the colours have faded. But the bird is still there, loud and clear, and this magnificent work of art by BANE & PEST was one of the very first big scale murals in the capital Nicosia. BANE comes from Switzerland and was visiting the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Together with the local artist PEST, the idea for the mural was developed and both created the wall together over several days. They are both part of the fabulous and international crew COLOR NOMADS. The bird on the wall is not only an artistic legacy of the creativlings, it has meanwhile become a small landmark of the city.
