Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!
Naturalism and awareness of his surroundings are two of his main sources of inspiration. In his works, which embellish many places and remain for several years, the artist Violant (João Maurício) translates his concerns into something physical. Endowed with great mastery, this artist, born in 1988 in the city of Torres Novas, began picking up spray cans at an early age, when he was 13... Three years later, he began to perfect his drawing techniques at the age of 16, having attended and completed a degree in Plastic Arts and Multimedia in Caldas da Rainha. Violant uses rollers and brushes with long handles to create his works, and does not use industrial scaffolding or even projectors (impressive, don't you think?).
This work in particular is very striking, as it combines various elements that we have in our imagination, from the symbol of justice to the Goddess of Venus, represented in many sculptures alluding to the Greek Goddess. The deconstruction and exposure of biological elements leaves no one indifferent and captures the attention of the most distracted passer-by.
