The Road to the Tower.

I grappled up a tower and ziplined to meet Juan's contact, Raiza after the checkpoint. She provided a parachute and led me to a double agent for intel. After using a workbench and scouting a fortified base with my phone, I prepared to parachuting in to steal uranium.

After liberating the checkpoint, I decided to get back on the job Juan asked me to handle. I rode a horse through the winding mountain paths till reaching this point where I had to grapple up the side of a steep cliff.

After running for some time through the open world, at last I found the tower I was commanded to reach. The structure was rusted and leaning, and I had to try a grapple to climb up the exterior to reach the upper observation deck.

After getting up there, I was suggested to slide down the zipline, which would take me to an abandoned camp far below. The wind rushed past as I descended, heading toward the spot where Juan's contact was waiting for me. It was a fast way to cover ground.

I continued moving ahead through the overgrowth and at last I found the contact Juan was talking about. She was Raiza, and she was waiting to help me steal supplies from Castillo's forces. She looked like she had been living in the wild for a long time.

After handing over a parachute to me, the lady asked me to follow her deeper into the hills. Before following her, I looted some supplies from the crates nearby, as I knew I might not get back to this specific place again.

I followed the lady all the way to this lookout that was guarded by an enemy soldier. Raiza told me we could bribe this soldier, who is actually a double agent working for the resistance. It was better than wasting bullets.

I had to holster my weapons before approaching the double agent, otherwise he would open fire. He accepted the payment and gave me important intel about the local military movements and the location of the precious uranium.

After getting the intel from the double agent, I climbed up a small tower to find some extra supplies left behind. I found a workbench as well, which allowed me to quickly check my gear before the main mission started.

Then there came Raiza climbing to my position, and it looked like I had to climb up there anyway to see check on the enemy fort ahead. I had to scout fort from there, getting a clear view of the fort across the valley.

I used my phone camera to scout the fort and tag soldiers, as per Raiza suggested to identify the threats. And then she asked me to go and snatch the uranium over there, using the parachute she gave me to drop in silently.

How about we continue in another post?

The detail about holstering your weapon before approaching the double agent was a nice touch. Small mechanics like that make the game more interesting and fun to play. Well played bro.

Thanks, I appreciate you noticing those small details.

The grappling and zipline sections were really fun because they give Far Cry that sense of vertical freedom. Sliding down from the tower toward the abandoned camp felt like the beginning of a serious covert mission.

That part was really fun.

Raiza seems like a great contact for this mission. Using a phone to scout the fort is such a unique mechanic, when most game would suggest you using a binocular.

Yeah, using a phone instead of binoculars definitely feels fresh and different.

Parachuting in for uranium sounds like a wild plan. I bet you're planning to go for a stealthy approach once you parachute in, cause I noticed that's what you like the most in the these games.

Yeah, once you land, going quiet is usually the safest way forward, and I just love taking them down quietly.
