At last, I decided to hit the open world and start my mission in earnest. I came out of the camp and reached a high place on the mountain from where I could see the whole village below. It looked like a small but detailed map to explore as I planned my path down.

It was Clara Garcia, the one whom Rita talked about earlier in the story. She approached Dani and asked him if he was truly the only survivor of the recent attack on the boat.

In the conversation, Dani said he planned to get out of Yara as soon as possible. He told her he just needed a place to stay for a few days to get his strength back.

Clara was very firm when she confirmed that Libertad is no charity, and everyone who stays must earn their keep through hard work.

When Dani was having a bold conversation with Clara, a nearby gunman was about to attack him with a rifle. Dani reacted instantly, unarmed the man, and pointed the rifle directly at Clara to show he was not someone to be trifled with. But the lady was not scared at all by the threat.

Clara got up from her seat and after saying some emotional sentences about Dani's difficult life in the orphanage, she grabbed the rifle right out of his hands. She showed no fear of the weapon or the man holding it.

She knew exactly how to handle him, using words to disarm his anger before taking the gun back.

As Dani didn't believe their plan could actually work, Clara showed him a map of what they were actually planning. She explained how they were going to free Yara from the dictator by cutting off his resources and uniting the people.

It was a massive goal that required a lot of sacrifice from everyone involved.

Then Clara said she would give him food and a place to sleep if he helped them. She promised him a boat to sail to the Americas, but warned him that it was going to cost him bullets and blood. She gave him the rifle back, confirming that he would work for the rebellion for the time being.

After checking the map of the island, I wanted to talk to Clara to accept the first official operation. My task was to find someone named Juan Cortez and bring him back to the camp safely. Juan was an important contact that the movement needed to move their plans forward against the regime.

I had to get down to the village to find Juan, who was probably drinking at a bar in that town named Armonia. But before going down, I decided to check around the camp to see what else I could find. I found other guerrillas camping and talking about Dani as I walked past them.

I kept exploring around the camp and found some interesting spots to check for supplies or information. The camp felt alive with the sounds of people preparing for war.

At last, I decided to hit the open world and start my mission in earnest. I came out of the camp and reached a high place on the mountain from where I could see the whole village below. It looked like a small but detailed map to explore as I planned my path down.

Note: I somehow messed up with the post and lost its content so I used my uploaded gameplay video from threespeak to capture/recover the photos which made them low resolution than originals. My bad.

I just noticed the note. I got confused at first check cause I saw the part before your edit. Its good that you at least could recover them, the resolution shouldn't matter much for a single time.

Very nice post. No problem with the photo quality, the story was still great to read. The camp and village scenes seemed very interesting.

Thanks, I really appreciate you focusing on the story, though this community is mainly for the photography as I understsand.

It is a tough deal Clara offered, but it’s fair for a rebellion. You can tell Dani is skeptical, but he doesn't have many other options right now.

Sad to know about the issue. I'd suggest to always check before going for the publish button.

Yeah, it is not an easy deal, but it makes sense for the situation. And yeah, that check part is important.

Awesome writing. You explained the mission start in a fun and simple way. It made me feel excited to explore the open world.

It made you want to explore right away, right?
