While searching for night shots, I stumbled upon a treasure hunt near a familiar church. A wolverine had swallowed the key to a locked cabin. After battling wolverines and burning their nest inside the church, I escaped through flames and finally unlocked the treasure-filled cabin before heading toward my next outpost.
When I was looking for pretty night shots around Hope County, I noticed this church. There was a time when I've been flying above this church from time to time, in the previous installment of the game.
I planned to go for an Outpost next but when I noticed I was this close to a treasure hunt, the treasures called me and I couldn't just ignore this call. Found a note behind the church that says a wolverine stole the key to the treasure house and probably resting inside the church.
The note mentioned there can be a wolverine nest inside the church and I might have to burn it down to retrieve the key. I found a way to get inside the church but I had to open it up with some bullets.
I should've been in the basement but the roof looked said I was in the attic, lol. It was a tight space but I had to cooperate.
I kept crouching ahead and suddenly I found a skull and some bones of someone. It looked like they belonged to a man but should a wolverine be this wild to eat up a human dead body?
After shooting down the wolverine that should've ate up that human, I broke out of the church, through a hole on the roof shade. I understood this could be my exit as the key was still inside.
I found the nest but there was no wolverine around, though I was hearing growling of a wolverine. I threw a molotov on the nest and it started burning up.
Suddenly the wolverine that was growling, came out of the nest with fire on its body. Before it could attack me, I shot it down and retrieved the key from its body. I guess it ate up the key as well.
The place started burning up so I lost my way out. But the fire itself showed me way and I came out of the burning church through the roof hole that I discovered a moment back.
I used the key to open up the locked cabin where I found the treasure and the mission for the treasure hunt was completed with this. There were a lot of worthy things and I collected them all.
Then I shot down a highwayman on the way and stole his bike. When the church was burning down, I was riding towards the outpost I was planning to go for a while.
