Suspecting Nora saw through her lie, I followed her down to the basement, dodging a guard patrol with Nora's help. After parting ways, I discovered a tragic note among three skeletons, bypassed a locked ICU door, and entered a spore-heavy emergency room, only to find an empty med kit.
I didn't think Nora bought the compartment syndrome that Abby tried to sell her but she was still acting accordingly, which is my opinion.
We kept moving toward this basement part, keeping a sharp eye on the dark hallways. Abby had to take cover as there were two soldiers below who were going to fetch Abby, but Nora sent them back to grab some boxes for her.
I continued following Nora and reached this door, found out she would accompany me last to the point of no return. And they both took their goodbye from there, sharing a tense look and Nora hoping Abby would come back in one piece from the lower floors.
Nora suggested I should find some medical supplies in surgery, trauma, or ICU. But I was attracted to this side room first as I saw a dead body from afar slumped against the moldy tile wall.
After getting inside the damp office space, I found not one but three skeletons who had terrible death there. And one of them had a letter that says he was called Scott when he was alive, and the letter was for someone named Jake, detailing their final days.
After getting out of that room with the note, I went for this door that should've led me to in the ICU section. But the door was locked tight from the other side, so I had to look for trauma and/or surgery next.
After getting down to the ground floor via a collapsed ramp, I checked around thoroughly and I started collecting some supplies. I noticed this door to the emergency room that Abby mentioned where the trauma center should have been located.
I walked through that door, having fer inside me personally as the era was thick and there was spores all around. And look what I found, with the walls covered in fungal growths and bodies on medical beds.
Well after checking around the place while masking my breathing, I found this kit box resting on a rusted counter. And Abby was hoping should find something inside to save her friend, but it was empty, leaving the search ongoing.

Nora tricking those two soldiers into fetching boxes instead of capturing Abby was an incredibly clutch move. She definitely seemed skeptical about the compartment syndrome excuse, but she still played along.
You could tell she was thinking "this sounds fake… but fine". Lol.
Stepping into that spore-heavy emergency room with the walls completely covered in fungal growths is terrifying. The way Abby was breathing, it gave the surrounding a creepy feel.
The tension there comes more from the environment, to be honest.
The atmosphere of the basement emergency room was terrifying. Thick spores, abandoned medical beds, and silence everywhere create such an oppressive horror vibe.
Yeah, that basement area looked absolutely cursed.
You survived a creepy hallway, read a depressing letter, and walked straight into a cloud of deadly spores just to open an empty cardboard box? Yeah, talking about a bad day.
That empty box honestly did more emotional damage than the spores 😄
The empty medical kit that you found at the end was frustrating. After surviving all those areas and running into the hospital, finding nothing useful there made it more desperate.
Yeah, all that effort for zero supplies is brutal.
