While seeking a path to the street, I neutralized two Clickers and a Stalker with Lev's help. After finding a flamethrower on a corpse, I used it against a Shambler and later fended off another Stalker. Finally, we scavenged ammo and spotted daylight.
When the two of us were looking for a way to the street, we suddenly saw a Clicker on our way that was not moving at all. I knew it was functional despite its stillness, so I crept up and took it down using a shiv.
And then I noticed there was another Clicker close by, twitching in the shadows of the collapsed corridor. I didn't want to risk getting close again, whom I shot down with a single arrow to the head.
And suddenly this Stalker came out of nowhere to attack us. I shot it down while Lev also shot it with arrows simultaneously. Our combined fire was enough to drop the demon before it could land a single blow.
Then I found this Flamethrower on a melted dead body that I picked up near a scorched wall. I just got a new weapon on my weapon wheel, and I knew the heat would be necessary for the horrors ahead.
We were going ahead through the debris of the building, carefully navigating the tilted floors. Suddenly I noticed there was a Shambler on our way. It was blocking the only exit, so we could just ignore it but I was not ignoring it you know.
Right when the Shambler tried to come close to me and attack me, I squeezed the trigger. I started using the Flamethrower to burn it alive, and the monster roared in pain as the intense flames was burning its skin.
But the Shambler was too strong, even with the flame on its back. So I had to escape toward Lev when the kid kept shooting the monster with arrows to distract it. I needed a moment to swap to my primary weapon.
Then I noticed the Shambler was backing up into the fog, trying to recover from the fire damage. But I didn't let it escape as I opened fire and took it down with some well-placed shots. It finally collapsed and exploded its spores when we were away from it.
Then we kept moving to find a way downstairs, and suddenly I noticed this Stalker hiding or stuck with those veins along the wall. It looked like it was part of the wall itself.
I was ready with my Flamethrower, but I don't know what happened as the Stalker could still jump on me despite the heat. The demon was surprisingly strong and desperate to bite.
When I was struggling to take down that Stalker, Lev helped there by stabbing it with his knife. And at last I took the demon down with a final strike.
Then after collecting some ammo from a fallen soldier we found in a side room, we reached this height of the building. From where we could at last see daylight.

Burning that Shambler alive looked like the most satisfying way to handle that roadblock. It was incredibly intense and smoky.
