After blowing up some clickers, I found a shotgun in a locked store and used it to fight off some runners. I climbed over a large gate and tried to stay quiet while a Scar sniper shot at clickers nearby. I was following some Scars when I got caught, and I died while trying to heal.

After blowing the clickers up, I found a way to jump to a neighboring building and get inside a locked store. I discovered a letter containing a safe combination there, though the safe itself remained hidden from view for the time being.

While searching for the safe, a runner suddenly ambushed me inside the store. I was forced into intense close combat since I didn't have enough time to draw my weapon.

I found a shotgun tucked beneath a desk, which was a welcome addition to my gear. I put it to use immediately on the next group of runners, noticing it had the stopping power to take off heads with a single blast.

I managed to open a door that was locked from the inside and reached a Chinese-style gate. I had to perform some climbing to reach the other side.

Immediately after crossing, I spotted clickers wandering the streets, but they were being picked off by headshots from an unseen source. I also noticed several Scars moving through the area, adding a new layer of danger.

I realized there was a sniper on a nearby building who was responsible for shooting the clickers. I had to move with extreme caution to avoid drawing his attention while I trailed the Scars on the ground level.

Following the Scars, I climbed up into a building where I got a clear view of the sniper on the opposite rooftop. I stayed low and moved carefully, knowing one wrong step would give away my position.

Suddenly, I realized two Scars were inside the same building as me. I tried to move in, but they detected me before I could strike, forcing me to take them down in a frantic struggle.

With the whole area now aware of my presence, I tried to slip back into the shadows to recover. I attempted to heal because my health was critically low, but I was caught off guard and taken down just as I started to patch myself up.
We'll check what happens next in another post.

The moment you found the shotgun, the tension changed completely. Your description made the fight against the runners feel intense and satisfying.
The close combat with the runner seemed intense. When you don't have time to draw a weapon, every second counts. It's a good thing you found that shotgun immediately after to even the odds.
The ending where you tried to heal but got caught was tragic. You tried your best to survive but there was no escape...
Stalking the Scars while staying out of the sniper's sight should require so much patience. I noticed how careful you were there, but still got noticed. One wrong move really does changed everything in an instant.
You did a great job tracking the Scars through the building. Getting a clear view of the sniper while staying low shows you know how to prioritize targets and stay in the shadows.
