Deep Inside the Hidden Forest

I discover many Beauties AND Horrors inside the Hidden Forest,

Butt.... this is how it all Started

Rewind

A place i have seen one too many times, it is hopelessly mundane,
but for the sake of exploration, i decide to dive in and see why it glows?!

sky01.jpg

It's like a sandstorm in there,

sky02.jpg

this place is actually a tavern, or like an Inn?..
Hmn no i would call it more tavern, since an Inn doesnt host businesses as you would see soon..

sky03.jpg

Well, until the attendant came and knelt before me, (i didnt ask him to?), for a split second, i wondered what place this really was xd..

sky04.jpg

Deep in thought, but i found a place to change my hairstyle. this place is actually a Tavern / Inn.. the other hairstyle has been making me look serious..

sky05.jpg

then i began exploring, first - what is that place?, anyway i saw some jars at the entrance it means something is down there..

sky06.jpg

then this place is an empty Workshop, i learnt the Spirit who ran this business is not here anymore

sky07.jpg

then this place, the spirit who created Wings is no longer here too.. hmnn,

sky08.jpg

then this place, the spirit who developed...., what did he develop again?.. Anyway, its empty too, but i found three empty workshops owned by spirits who disappeared long ago..

sky09.jpg

up here, still in the tavern, a Spirit, (or rather a creature) relaxes beside a big stone of bathing water..

sky10.jpg

I jump into the water to get a better reflection of the sunrays..

sky11.jpg

Amazing underwater light glow..

sky12.jpg

I go down deeper into the store, and guess what I seee? A Potion Store..

sky13.jpg

Hmmn, whatever has potions got to do with me, let alone Sky??.. would i possibly craft magic liquids soon..

sky14.jpg

My exploration was incredible in the Tavern, even though very mundane yes, but I was also struggling to connect it all..

what re they trying to say: the spirits who disappeared, the empty workshops, the portion store?..

sky15.jpg

but then i remember, earlier, a creature signified for me to follow him down the jars route, but i ignored that, i wanted to get my bearings first around the tavern..

And now, i decided to go check it out..

Turns out, He provided the Answers

sky16.jpg

Spooky

sky17.jpg

Found ya my man!

sky18.jpg

Three tunnels, three empty workshops, there Spirits lost, does it connect?

sky19.jpg

turns out it does..

I cleanse some impurities out of the way and my guide here reveals to me that, I can now collect three different sets of Dyes, So the actual name

are dyes NOT potions,

Perhaps after i fill the quotas, will they return back to their rightful place in the workshop?.

sky21.jpg

sky20.jpg

Back out side, and it is Twilight.

Some spirits are seated at a store (i dont care wat that store sells lol).. so many stores lol

sky22.jpg

I pass them without a word (or, uhhh, they dont say a word to me)

sky23.jpg

I sight this babyish, floating creature, so I decide to capture him for keeps..

sky24.jpg

ACT 2

Now, let me retell:

I pass through the Daylight prairie Portal, and the moment i get through, no Spirits follows me, I only notice after a while of soaring through to the mission lands,

sky25.jpg

sky26.jpg

sky27.jpg

Some Dancing candles.....

sky28.jpg

Beautiful screenshots of Birds Flying, they all flock towards the Elders Temple, the same as my destination..

sky29.jpg

sky30.jpg

sky31.jpg

A Lone figure, me, standing, thinking of how to soar through those thick clouds[?]..

sky32.jpg

I analyse a takeoff position..

sky33.jpg

[Launchpad]..

sky34.jpg

Now arriving at the Temple, the fields are free from sunflowers... but ever still windy..

sky35.jpg

My One way ticket to the Hidden Forest..

it would appear, i have successfully rescued spirits in Daylight Praire, i had to reach this destination on my own to unlock the next pathway

sky36.jpg

this is the Intersecting land between the Hidden Forest and Daylight Prairie:

sky37.jpg

No fear now, just follow the birds..

sky38.jpg

That is NOT very hard to do xd..

sky39.jpg

sky40.jpg

The Hidden Forest is full of Great Walls forbidden you from Entry.. only the Brave..

sky41.jpg

The entrance is open this time, otherwise i have to open it myself..

sky42.jpg

I found a very cool friend, she guided me through the entrance. it was a very nice welcome..

sky43.jpg

the great wall enclosure

sky44.jpg

ripples of water

sky45.jpg

Me shivering, i wasnt expecting all of this to be candid xdd..

sky46.jpg

Me and my friend scaled the perimeter, A New Door!!..

sky47.jpg

and it is raining..

sky48.jpg

I am left to my Fate,

sky49.jpg

I Unlock the door, And Find?..

my first spirit in the hidden forest..

Woah, time to reverse engineer like its my last name? loll

sky50.jpg

I am also collecting Dye Spills on the way, and Filling up Three Dye Containers (i still dnt know exactly how i would use them)

sky51.jpg

I Unlock another door, my second in the Hidden Forest..

sky52.jpg

And follow the spirit to learn about his past Memories so I can understad his story

sky53.jpg

[Dont pose for the Camera Yet Chel]... xd

sky54.jpg

More Memories to relive..

sky55.jpg

Soon, we are left alone, this is how he really is, his current form,

and... its time for me to do my job, the one thing I can aid him in...

sky56.jpg

I serve him with my Light..

sky57.jpg

Whats gonna happen???

sky58.jpg

Yeahh, just how i like it... In his normal spirit form!

sky59.jpg

Dont cry Spirit Buddy, I Shall lead you Home!!..

sky60.jpg

The second part of the forest was beautiful. Flying through the sky, following birds, and helping spirits felt magical. When you restored the spirit with light was very touching and meaningful.

thank you for your comment.. it is quite a beautiful game in many ways than one, just as you have outlined. I think i enjoyed my visit to the forest the most bcos it was a contrast to the mild and soft parts ive experienced so far.
