The March on Kjotve.

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

After receiving the king's blessing, Eivor and Sigurd launched a brutal raid on Kjotve's coastal camp. We burned enemy supply carts and dismantled the defense before meeting with reinforcements. Following a final strategic council, Eivor requested that Basim that Eivor will kill Kjotve himself.

After taking permission from the king, the siblings set their course toward the closest camp of Kjotve the Cruel. On our way to the land where the spies originated, I spotted a lonely campfire burning along the shoreline.

As we closed in on the camp, I gave the order to begin the raid. Eivor stood tall and started blowing the horn, signaling our warriors to prepare for the slaughter.

I jumped out of the boat as soon as we hit the shallows and took down one of the enemies with ruthless efficiency. By then, the rest of my crew had already reached the coast and begun their assault.

I focused on setting fire to several carts that likely held the enemies' gear and supplies. They kept trying to push us back, but we proved to be completely unstoppable as we moved through the camp.

I had to fight through a thick line of defenders to reach the remaining carts. I handled them quickly, ensuring our path to the primary targets remained clear.

While the last cart was burning down, I accidentally caught fire myself. I had to sprint back to the river and dive in to save myself as the flames began to spread across my body.

I met Sigurd back at the dock, where several boats from another king's fleet had arrived. They offered to aid us in our final mission to end Kjotve's reign once and for all.

After a brief discussion, the allies decided to meet at another land checkpoint to begin the march. Sigurd joined them immediately, leaving me behind to take my time before going for the war.

I didn't have to make the long journey to the meeting point manually, as Eivor moved there during a cinematic transition. I met Sigurd and the commander of the allied forces to finalize our plan for the coming war.

As Eivor and Sigurd left the tower to prepare for the battle, Eivor asked Basim to leave Kjotve to him, and he agreed, respecting Eivor's need for personal vengeance.

That's all for now.

The strategy you used was very smart. Targeting supply carts first was a perfect move. The moment when you caught fire and had to jump into the river was scary.

Thanks a bunch for your complemental comment.

The story was very strong. Meeting with the allies and planning for the final battle made it a more important part. I am excited for what comes next.

I was also excited and it was done. You can find it on my recent post.

Launching the raid looked like a massive turning point. The way Eivor stood tall and blew the horn to signal the warriors, created a great sense of momentum before hitting the camp.

That animation of Eivor blowing his horn is so cool, right? I just love it.

I noticed the chaos when you accidentally caught fire while burning the supply carts. Having to sprint back to the river to save yourself added a very grounded and frantic layer to the middle of the assault.

I was not actually looking forward to something like that, but it happened.
