The Slanted Bottom of Heart Lake.

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

I performed the Song of Launching to lure a Faceless One onto a pressure plate, successfully unlocking a secret chamber. Inside, I discovered a martial arts book that triggered a spiritual surge, transporting me to a distorted version of Heart Lake featuring upside-down buildings and a collapsing, blood-red world.

After waking the Faceless Ones, I had to perform the Song of Launching to draw them over a specific pressure plate. The mechanism needed the weight of at least two people to open the next door, requiring me to guide the spirits carefully.

I started performing the Song of Launching after sitting on that pressure plate myself. The Faceless Ones responded to the melody and kept moving slowly towards my position.

After playing the flute for some time, one of them came close to me, right where I wanted him. This finally provided the required weight, and I watched as the ancient door groaned and opened up to reveal the path ahead.

After getting inside, I had to find the treasures within the secret chamber. I discovered a mysterious book that taught me magnificent martial arts, though the knowledge came with an intense, overwhelming sensation of power.

Suddenly my character started feeling his head spinning and he mentioned his inner ki was surging uncontrollably. When he regained consciousness, he was back at the clinic, but the world was drenched in an eerie reddish color.

I had to leave that place, but after getting out I didn't find the world I came from. It was like a big cave where spirits of Faceless Ones, and samurais were still wandering around in a dreamlike state.

I checked the surroundings and realized I had to find a way out of the slanted bottom of Heart Lake. Upon exiting, I was met with an illuminated sky of deep red and buildings hanging upside down.

It was such a cool scene as I headed ahead, though I had no idea what danger was awaiting me at the end of this journey. The gravity of the place felt wrong, and the atmosphere was thick with supernatural tension.

The stones on the path started collapsing into the void as I moved ahead. I reached a hero's tomb where I decided to pause my play before facing the great danger that could be awaiting me further in.

That's all for now.

I really enjoyed how the environment itself became part of the challenge.
After checking on the reddish photos, I couldn't help but skipping to that moment in the video to check how cool that moment really is. I can't wait to see what really happened there next.

Thanks, that sequence really stuck with me too. And I'm working on the next one, it'll be published very soon.

Sound good.

Upside-down cities always mean trouble is about to show up. Your last sentence tells even heroes need a break before walking into cosmic danger. I liked those pictures at the end a lot. You did great with this post.

I'm glad you liked the pictures. Those moments felt cinematic.

I liked how exploration itself became dangerous with collapsing paths and warped gravity. It showed that danger was not only coming from enemies but from the environment itself.

Yeah, you could not relax even when enemies were gone.

Really enjoyed reading this part. The way you explained the Song of Launching puzzle was perfect. Unlocking the secret chamber was rewarding. Excellent Work.
