Determined to bleed the monastery dry of resources, I spent time clearing barricades and forcing open heavy supply crates with my crewmates. After navigating a hidden underground passage to claim a new ability book, I returned to the celebrating clan, where Birna requested to leave Soma and join my crew.
We were done taking care of Wigmund, and could just finish the quest I started, but I decided to loot every possible supplies from this place. So I started looking for more buildings, checking every corner.
Then I found another big box, but I had to pull or push a crate to make our way there. And then I just opened the heavy lid with the help of one of my clan members, matching our strength.
Then I went outside, and I was looking for more supplies as I knew, this whole place was rich with supplies. And then I had to take help to open up the door, bracing my shoulder against the heavy door until it gave way.
Upon getting inside, I found another box that I tried to open up, but I couldn't do it alone. So I took help and opened it, pulling up on the golden lid to reveal the resources hidden inside.
Now that I understood there were no more big boxes around, but there should have been a book of knowledge. And I had to look for this hidden entrance to the underground for that.
Upon getting to the location, I was surprised to see some of my clan members there, along with a lot of big rats around. And there I found the book of knowledge that I collected, and I just unlocked a new ability.
It looked like there was another way to get there that I completely ignored. So after getting outside, I was going to meet Soma and her clan for one final goodbye. And on my way, I took care of some more Saxon soldiers before reaching the clan.
The whole clan cheered up after seeing me and Soma. And then I noticed the clan members started collecting supplies that they found from this place, to transport back down to the longships.
Soma mentioned, Birna had something to talk to Eivor. So Eivor just walked toward her while Soma called Lif away, leaving us to speak in relative privacy near the shore of the river.
After a little conversation, Birna spilled out that she didn't want to fight alongside Soma anymore, as she was much interested in joining the Raven clan. And Eivor just accepted her before finishing the quest.

The teamwork needed to push those crates and force open those massive supply boxes always makes the raid feel so authentic. You really did not want to leave a single coin behind in that monastery, and it was good.

The underground area was full of rats, which created a creepy atmosphere. It was a nice contrast to the chaos happening above ground.

Wigmund might be gone but the grind never stops, I loved how you absolutely refused to leave until every single building was cleared out. Having Birna join the crew sound like a massive win for the Raven clan.
The mission may have been over, but my loot instincts had other plans.
Unlocking a new Book of Knowledge is always exciting. New abilities can completely change how future battles play out.
