Completing River Axe Raid.

I brutally fought through defenders along the River Exe, easily beheading a tough opponent. After finding a way inside a locked building to secure a large cargo chest with a crewmate's help, we returned to Ravensthorpe to build the Jomsviking hall, successfully completing the quest.

I charged into the heart of the raid, determination driving every heavy swing of the blade. The battlefield was loud with the sounds of clashing iron and shouting warriors, but I focused entirely on the immediate task.

I moved fluidly from one target to the next, using raw strength and momentum to overwhelm the enemy soldiers. The brutal strikes left no room for the defenders to recover, and I steadily cleared the area of any active threats.

During the battle, a particularly formidable defender stepped forward to challenge Eivor. This opponent carried himself with confidence, appearing much tougher and more heavily armored than the standard guards.

With a sudden burst of speed, I bypassed the defender's guard and struck a decisive blow. The axe connected cleanly, and Eivor easily beheaded the opponent.

With the defenders defeated, I turned attention toward a large, heavily fortified building. I approached the front entrance, only to discover that the massive wooden door was securely locked from the inside.

Realizing there was no simple way to breach the front, I decided to search for an alternative route around the perimeter. I began climbing up the side of the building.

Upon reaching the high roof, I carefully inspected the structure, but there was no alternative entrance to be found from above. With no way to proceed from the rooftop, I stepped to the edge and executed a clean Leap of Faith

Just around the corner, I discovered a simple open door that had been left entirely unguarded. I stepped inside the dimly lit interior and immediately spotted the primary target: a massive cargo box containing the valuable resources they had traveled so far to secure.

With the valuable cargo secured, I directed the crew to carry the spoils back to the longship, officially completing the raid on the location. I set sail down the River Exe, having successfully raided three separate locations along the riverbank.

The longship, heavy with loot, finally returned to the settlement of Ravensthorpe. Eivor knew these newly acquired supplies were exactly what the clan needed to build something lasting.

I decided to use the foreign materials to construct a grand hall for the Jomsvikings, providing a proper place for Vagn and the other warriors to gather.

The construction was completed, and with the new hall standing proud, I successfully finished the quest 'A River to Raid'.

That's all for now.

That armored defender walked in looking confident, and a few seconds later he didn't even have a head anymore. I noticed you didn't want to waste much time there.

That defender had no idea what was waiting for him.

I honestly thought you were going to break the front door somehow. Instead, the solution ended up being a simple walk around the building.

Haha, I was expecting something more dramatic too.

AC Valhalla is one of those titles in the franchise that I'm really looking forward to playing and enjoying soon! I don't know how it's connected to other AC games, but it looks great. I really like the dynamics of this raid mission. It makes perfect sense; you're a Viking. Great photos.

Well it already connected with Basim, the protagonist of AC Mirage.

Building the Jomsviking hall right after getting back to Ravensthorpe was the perfect way to spend all that hard-earned loot. It was real progress.

Thanks, I felt the same way.
