The Fight Against Kjotve.

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

I fought Kjotve the Cruel and faced Eivor's father's shame in battle. After a tough fight that moved into a pit, I dodged thrown bodies and finally assassinated him. In a dark vision, Kjotve was defeated having Odin as a witness, and Eivor's raven returned the royal bracelet to him.

I did not think that fighting Kjotve the Cruel would happen this soon in the story. It felt like he should be the final boss of the entire game, but the whole team was already moving in to take the man down.

We gathered our strength and prepared to storm his position, knowing that this would be one of the most important fights for our clan's future and safety in these lands.

Kjotve was not scared at all when he saw us coming because he was a very strong and proud captain. Eivor mentioned that this was his father's shame that he would take back today.

The battle started with a lot of energy and noise. Kjotve asked Eivor to embrace his destiny as they locked eyes on the battlefield. My only objective at this point was to kill him and end his reign of cruelty once and for all.

I started attacking the enemy while Kjotve kept trying his hardest to hit me with powerful swings. I managed to dodge most of them by moving quickly to the side. The sad part was that I did not have access to the photo mode during this boss battle, so I could not capture the cool photos that I usually like to.

When I finally drained half of Kjotve's blood, he kicked me hard and I fell deep inside a pit. He jumped down into the hole right after me to continue the fight in the cramped space.

While I was laid down on the ground trying to get back up, an assassin jumped down to help. He tried to air assassinate Kjotve from above, but he failed to hit the target. Kjotve was too fast and moved out of the way just in time.

Kjotve started throwing dead bodies toward me to hurt me, so I had to dodge them constantly. After avoiding his desperate attacks, I drained the rest of his health and finally assassinated him.

Eivor was dragged into a strange shadow realm along with the dying Kjotve. In this dark place, he saw Odin watching them from the mist. It was a very cold and quiet place compared to the loud battle we just finished.

Kjotve was saying that Eivor's clan would be forgotten by history, but then something very strange happened. A big tree grew right out of the ground and pierced through Kjotve's body.

Then the raven of Eivor came right out of Kjotve's mouth in the vision. The bird gave Eivor the bracelet that he had gifted to the king when he was just a kid. The mission of taking down Kjotve was over, and I felt like a great weight had been lifted from Eivor's shoulders.

That's all for now.

This fight was very exciting. You were strong and brave in front of Kjotve. The fight part made it more fun to read.

Thanks, fighting Kjotve felt like a proper test of strength. I had to be brave or it wouldn’t have worked.

The dark vision scene was very cool and different. Odin watching them made it feel special and powerful. The raven bringing back the bracelet was a nice moment.

Yeah, that scene made the whole moment feel epic.

Defeating Kjotve this early fast surprised me because the whole fight felt important. But he entered that fight like he still believed he had another chapter left.

Right, his confidence made the outcome feel more shocking.

I really liked the story part of this battle. Eivor's fight for his father’s honor was very emotional. Kjotve was strong, which made the fight more important for the clan.

Yeah, defeating Kjotve felt meaningful for more than just the action.
