I discovered Eivor's skeleton before taking a break from the Animus to explore the surrounding woods. After witnessing a falling satellite and finding an old invitation in a mailbox, I browsed Layla's personal photos for inspiration. Following a brief photography session of my own, I returned to the cabin to dive back into the past.

I got surprised to know it was actually the skeleton of Eivor buried right there in the America soil, thousands of miles from Norway. It was a haunting discovery that connected the ancient past to our current struggle in a way I didn't expect when I first discovered this remote location.

Before getting back into that shed to interact with Shaun and the rest of the team, I wanted to check around the immediate area. The air seemed cold, and the history of the land felt heavy beneath my feet.

I went back into the house, where I found Shaun and Rebecca busy monitoring the equipment. Rebecca said sorry about pulling Layla out of the Animus so abruptly because the generator was sputtering and losing power.
She mentioned she should need a second to stabilize the connection before I could safely jump back into the animus.

Rebecca then said the Animus was ready for me to jump back in, but I decided to check around the yard a bit more while I had the chance to breathe.
Right after getting outside, I noticed there was a satellite falling across the earth like a massive missile.

I decided to check if there was a way out of this isolated place.. I found this old mailbox with a mail of an invitation to a fair in Concord tucked inside.

I found a route that looked like it should take me out of this place. But as I tried, Layla mentioned we can't run away from this, so I had to come back. The invisible walls of our mission felt just as real as the wooden walls of the house.

After coming back to the house, I checked on this laptop where I found a folder named "My stuff". There were some cool photographs that Layla captured from around this place, and the images inspired me to go out and try some of my own photography before heading back into the past.

This time I tried some special filters along with some good angles for the photos shown above. I spent some time framing the trees and the cabin, trying to capture the beauty of this site. It was a brief moment of creative distraction that should help clear Layla's mind before the next long session in the simulation.

And look what I found while exploring the back of the property. A small toilet that had a hole of a heart shape on the door. I took a quick photo of it, finding a bit of humor in the small things that survived the passage of time.

I went back inside the house as I finally decided to jump back in the Animus and continue Eivor's story. Just before going back in, I found this floral plant that looked beautiful in the soft light of the cabin.
That's all for now.

Taking a break from the Animus to explore the yard was a great way to ground Layla's character. I loved the photos you captured later with special filters.
Thanks. I even thought I should've explore around more, though there were not much to explore there.

Taking a break from the Animus to explore the quiet woods gave the present day section a calm atmosphere. The cold air and isolated cabin made the entire location feel lonely.
It was a lonely location for sure, but it was beautiful. Only if I had a cabin like this with such beautiful views.
It was interesting to feel the invisible walls when trying to leave the site. The heart-shaped cutout on the outhouse door was a funny little find.
I just wanted to see if I could leave the place. And that toilet is a fun discovery.
Amazing play bro. Discovering that the grave belonged to Eivor was an unexpected moment. Finding the remains of a legendary Viking so far from Norway added a mysterious weight to the story.
So you found the post, which is great. Yeah, it was totally unexpected. But I guess this is how they're working on the memories now.
I really liked finding Eivor's grave after jumping out of the Animus. Knowing she was part of that exploration to Vinland—what the Vikings called America—is just so cool. Though, to be fair, the game throws some pretty unpleasant surprises at you later on in this section.
Thanks for not giving me more spoilers. I'd probably do more, lol.
