I had met with the pirate Goro and delivered the message from Lord Shimura to him. While searching for Goro, I discovered a new place called Umugi Cove. This place is the hideout of the Straw Hat Ronins. They are mercenary warriors. They protect someone for money, and they don't hesitate to kill someone.

After Umugi Cove was unlocked, some new side missions were also unlocked here. One of the missions was called "A Thief of Innocence." I decided to start with that. I saw a helpless mother searching for her lost daughter. She said that her daughter had been missing for about three to four days. Her daughter's name was Kuma. The woman cried and asked me to help her.

First I started talking to some of the Straw Hat Ronin in the cove. When I asked one of them about Kuma, his answer seemed a little suspicious to me. He wasn't answering properly. But I couldn't be sure right away. Then I asked another one. He said he knew Kuma but hadn't seen him in a long time. He seemed innocent.

This is how the interrogation went on. After a while, a man called me and took me aside. He said, “It’s not right to talk about these things here.” Then he secretly told me that a few days ago, Kuma was seen with some bandits near the Numanaka Inn. Hearing this, I quickly headed towards that place.

On the way there, I took some more pictures of Izuhara Island. The atmosphere here is really different. There are red flowers all around, a smoky atmosphere and a kind of cinematic vibe. So it felt good to take pictures.

Finally, when I reached the Numanaka Inn area, I saw two people sitting on the side of the road crying. After talking to them, I learned that an innocent looking girl had asked them for help. When they went to help, some bandits came and robbed them of everything, even killing their horse. That's when I realized that this was Kuma.

I quickly moved towards the inn. On the way, I encountered four Mongol soldiers. Using the Stand Off skill, I killed the first three instantly. I also finished off the remaining one very easily.

Then I reached the inn and saw some bandits guarding it. I attacked them directly. The bandits were not very skilled, so I easily defeated them. Then I went inside and killed some more bandits using perfect parry.

Then I use my senses to notice that Kuma is on the second floor. I quickly go up and kill one bandit from behind. When I go inside, I see Kuma crying and three bandits sleeping next to him. I kill the sleeping bandits one by one.

Kuma then cried and said that she was forced to do these things. She's not really bad. Hearing her words, Sakai also understood that the girl was a victim of circumstances. So I took her and quietly left there.

But as soon as I stepped outside the gate, I saw the suspicious ronin I had talked to earlier standing there. I immediately realized that this was the man who had captured Kuma and sold him to the bandits. And realizing that, I engaged in battle with him and killed him. Kuma's mother was very happy to get her daughter back.

The atmosphere you described around Umugi Cove was amazing. The mix of red flowers, smoky air, and hidden criminal activity gives the game such a unique and mysterious feeling.
Yes, I am also very fond of the area. It's beautiful.
That scene when you were riding through the red floral open field, it looked beautiful. I can't help but praise the beautiful landscape of this game. And you fight like a pro samurai.
Thanks a lot. It's been a while since I am playing the game. And now I can say, I am a pro samurai.
The interrogation process inside the cove felt tense, especially with the Ronins giving such evasive answers. It is awesome how that one tip-off about the Inn blew the whole investigation wide open.
The mission itself felt darker than a normal rescue quest. Discovering that Kuma was being forced into helping bandits added a tragic layer to the story and made the ending much more emotional.
