I discovered a hidden hatch to bypass the locked door, uncovering voice logs and biometric data detailing Ted Faro's failed attempts at immortality.
Despite Aloy's warnings, the CEO entered the chamber and, in his disappointment, ordered our execution. I fought back using heavy Imperial weaponry to blast through the Quen guards.

After looking around for some time for an alternative route, I noticed there was this ceiling hatch that I could pull open. I used my pullcaster to wrench it down and climbed through.

It looked like I was sliding downwards through a narrow ventilation shaft. With the help of the photo mode, I got a good view of the mechanical surroundings as Aloy moved deeper into the structure.

After getting to the other side, I found a console that Aloy started analyzing using her focus. The ancient technology hummed to life, revealing secured files and encrypted communications from the Old World.

Aloy found data where Ted Faro left some voice messages and she started listening to one of them cautiously. Suddenly, she heard a thudding noise coming from the other side of a locked door.

She checked the biometric monitor and understood that Ted did something to himself to live longer, but it didn't go well. The data suggested his cellular regeneration had mutated into something monstrous over the centuries.

At that moment, Ceo went in as his soldiers broke the door open and asked Aloy what she had found. Aloy mentioned there was nothing that the Ceo was looking for, trying to protect him.

Aloy suggested Ceo not to go in there, but he didn't listen to her advice. He went in just to return with a horrified face, knowing his idol was not the legend he imagined.

After coming out of that room, Ceo ordered one of his soldiers to burn it down. Aloy asked them not to, as Ted had rigged the facility to melt down if the chamber was compromised.

Ceo didn't listen to Aloy; instead, he asked his soldiers to kill both Aloy and Alva. He wanted no witnesses to the pathetic reality of the man he once worshipped.

Now, both me and Alva had to fight those Quen soldiers who turned on us instantly. Two of them in the room were equipped with massive, high-caliber heavy guns.

After taking down one Quen Imperial Guard, I picked up his Deathbringer gun to shoot down the other guard. I used the heavy firepower to quickly neutralize the soldier using..

I switched to the Fire Spitter and started moving ahead as we had to escape the facility. There were more guards on our way to stop us, so I started burning them up.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.

It is crazy how the CEO's obsession blinded him right until the very end. Trying to kill Aloy just to hide the truth about Faro shows how weak he really was.
I really liked the tension as you explored through the ventilation shaft. It felt like walking into a grave that wasn't quite finished yet.
Your screenshots of the ventilation shaft and the old-world consoles were stunning. You captured the ancient tech vibe perfectly.
Great job reacting quickly and picking up the heavy weaponry. Turning the enemies' own tools against them is always the smartest way to win.

The sudden betrayal by Ceo and the fight against the Quen guards increase the tension. Using the Deathbringer gun and Fire Spitter to escape was so satisfying after such a dramatic reveal.
