I escaped a collapsing facility with Alva while the infrastructure melted around us. After witnessing Ceo's ironic death beneath Ted Faro's statue, I fought through the remaining Quen soldiers. We successfully negotiated our freedom with Bohai, leading to Alva joining our team at the secret base to assist with the recovered data.
The fire splitter was making me slow when the whole place started melting down, so I left it behind. I began running fast while Alva followed closely, as the structure was falling apart.
In this dangerous time, Ceo sent some of his soldiers to fight us. We had to kill them on our toes while navigating to safety, dodging falling debris and heat vents.
We reached the sacred corridor with a big statue of Ted Faro and noticed Ceo climbed up the statue to escape. He almost succeeded in reaching higher ground away from the flames.
The man did not have luck on his side. He fell off the statue, and the massive head of the Faro monument fell directly on him, resulting in a horrible death.
The fallen statue made a way for us, acting like a bridge over the melting floor. We started walking on it carefully to cross the gap filled with molten machinery.
After getting to the other side, I noticed Aloy had fire on her back from the heat. There came some more Quen soldiers to stop us, and I had to fight them off.
There were no more soldiers to stop us; it was just the melting place falling apart. We ran fast, and the ladies finally got out of there alive at last.
Bohai was waiting for us with some soldiers and asked about Ceo's whereabouts. Alva tried to cover for us, saying Ceo sacrificed himself to save them from the collapse.
Bohai was not foolish enough to believe Ceo would sacrifice himself for others. He asked for the truth while his soldiers pointed their arrows at us during the tense standoff.
Aloy told the truth, mentioning the data found there could help the Quen if she worked on it. Bohai released them, insisting Aloy take Alva along to receive updates.
Alva looked happy to work alongside Aloy. Aloy suggested she head to the secret base to meet Varl, and she also sent a message asking Varl to welcome her.

The escape sequence was intense. Running through the collapsing facility, with everything melting around Aloy and Alva, felt cinematic and chaotic.
Ceo's death beneath the statue of Ted Faro was a sad moment. The way the monument's head crushed him after he tried to climb to safety felt like a movie that comes with a sad ending.
