I tracked a flock of crows to a rooftop, where I destroyed a paper doll and cleansed a corrupted tree. After falling to the street level, I neutralized a Rain walker and saved spirits hidden within corrupted trees. I ended my journey by purchasing supplies from a Nekomata shopkeeper.
Following a flock of crows through the air, I reached this roof where I found a paper doll guarding a corrupted tree. Before the demon could unleash its power, I took it down with a well-aimed fireball that incinerated its paper form instantly.
I cleansed the corrupted tree to see if there were any spirits to save, and I found several trapped within the dark energy. I absorbed them with my Katashiro, feeling the weight of their souls as I prepared them for safe extraction later.
I thought the crows would leave this area after I cleansed that corrupted tree, but they were still hovering above. Their persistence let me know there were still corrupted zones around the vicinity that required my attention to fully clear the district.
I accidentally fell down from the high point. After getting on the street level, I noticed there was a Rain walker not far from me. I went crouching to him silently and took him down easily before he could detect me.
I noticed there were a couple of spirits hidden behind some corrupted trees. After cleansing the trees with my spiritual energy, I absorbed the spirits. They flickered with gratitude as they entered the paper charms I held out toward the shimmering blue light.
I kept walking on the night street when I noticed the thick fog on the side where I shouldn't go. I avoided the lethal mist and found more spirits that I absorbed and kept to transfer through a payphone later in the evening.
Suddenly, I noticed this superstore glowing in the dark. After getting inside, I found this floating cat who was actually the storekeeper. I decided to take a look at the shelves to buy some items that would aid me in my supernatural investigation.
After getting a list of the shop items, I noticed I had enough funds to buy a lot of things. I started buying nearly everything from the list, including various snacks and, importantly, I bought some dog food to help any hungry strays I find.
