After fighting some demons on my way, I intercepted a call from KK's friend, Ed. After receiving intel about a mysterious complex, I scouted the city from the rooftops. I eventually purified a street blocked by a corrupted tree, neutralizing the demonic guardians to clear his path.

After taking down the Paper Doll, I had to pause and develop a solid strategy for a Rain Slasher blocking my path. These enemies are fast, so I needed to time my approach perfectly to avoid a direct confrontation.

I carefully observed the Rain Slasher's movement patterns. Once I was sure the coast was clear, I moved in for a silent stealth takedown, neutralizing the threat before she even knew I was there.

Taking down the Rainwalkers turned into a chaotic situation. They detected my presence and immediately began throwing objects at me, forcing me to stay active while returning fire.

After dealing enough damage to expose them, I successfully extracted the cores from both Rainwalkers. I had to chase the second one quite a distance down the street to finish the job.

While walking down the street, I spotted a Rainwalker that looked completely exhausted on its guard. I took it down quickly, which felt like a mercy given how much it seemed to be struggling.

I reached another graveyard where a Paper Doll was guarding a cluster of lost spirits. I engaged and defeated the guardian, then absorbed the freed spirits into my Katashiro to keep them safe.

I found a telephone booth where the phone was ringing so loudly I could hear it from a block away. This time Akito took the lead, finding Ed, an old friend of KK on the other end of the line.

Akito allowed KK to speak to Ed through his hand. Ed provided critical information about a nearby complex that seemed to be the source of the mysterious light we had been tracking.

I spotted a Tengu nearby and used it as a grappling hook to reach the rooftops. From there, I got a clear visual of a street below that was completely blocked by a massive corrupted tree and several demonic guardians.

I jumped back down and silently took out a Rainwalker near a car. Just on the other side, I noticed a Passenger standing perfectly still, seemingly mesmerized by the corrupted tree.

I moved in and took down the Passenger before it could react. With the guardians gone, I purified the corrupted tree, clearing the blockage from the street and opening the way toward my next objective.

Taking down the Rain Slasher quietly, showed a lot of patience. Since those enemies have such aggressive movement patterns, watching her from the shadows before moving in was the perfect way to neutralize the threat.
Yeah, rushing that one would have gone very wrong.

The combat with the Rainwalkers was very exciting. When they detected you and started attacking, the situation became intense in a matter of seconds. But you handled the situation skillfully.
Yeah, once they lock on, there is no slowing down, as these fight demands quick reactions.
The exploration and story elements were very dramatic. Talking with Ed on the phone and getting new information was a great turn. The rooftop view and finding the corrupted tree made the mission bigger.
Yeah, that moment connected a lot of pieces together.
The way the Passenger was mesmerized by the corrupted tree was a cool detail. I liked how you focused on the atmospheric details of the city, like the phone ringing from a block away.
Yeah, those little details really bring the world to life.
