After Akito was stabbed and his sister taken, he survived only by letting KK take over his body. Akito woke in the hospital, reliving memories of Mari's past. With KK's guidance, he headed into the empty streets of Tokyo toward Yugenzaka, where he encountered hostile spirits and took them down.
After the leader of the masked man stabbed Akito with his bare hand, he couldn't do anything to stop them from taking his sister away. Another masked man carried his sister and all of them banished at once.
Akito was really dying this time unless he'd give up his body to the voice inside him and he didn't have an alternative way. Before asking that man to help his sister, he said his sister is Mari and the other man asked him to call him KK as he gave up his real name and then KK saved Akito.
Akito was back and got surprised to find himself in the hospital. Mari was really gone so he was sad about it.
Then Akito had a strange dream or maybe a flashback where Mari was asleep. Akito locked her window and when he was going away, he saw Mari in a burning room. Akito tried to save her but he couldn't.
I guess that's how Mari was sick and landed up in the hospital at first place.
Akito came to reality and was confused if this was real. KK asked him to get it together and then Akito looked at the mirror where he saw the strange hole in his cheek.
KK mentioned the masked man would need hold a giant ritual to make his plan work when Akito asked KK where Mari could be taken. And then I had to leave the hospital first and the first chapter ended with that.
I had to head to a place called Yugenzaka so I started walking in the beautiful night Tokyo when there were no people around. There were some strange fogs on my way and KK asked me to stay away from them as they're dangerous.
After reaching torii gate, I noticed two ghosts on our way. KK suggested we'd take them out but I hid first to check their movements.
I thought I could take them down quietly but one of them saw me, who was coming to towards me, so I took him down with my power.
Then I went for the other one who was examining a car. I walked to him silently and then I took him down hassle-free.
