I relied on stealth to avoid deadly entities while navigating Tokyo's rain-soaked streets without supernatural abilities. After reaching KK's apartment, Akito had a brief encounter with a woman from KK's past provided a mysterious object, only for her and the item to vanish as the world warped once more.
In the darkness and heavy rain, Akito was alone as a regular human being. Without any special abilities to defend myself, I had to ignore several demons on my way to avoid a fatal confrontation.
I found a dog on my path and tried to feed it some dog food, but the game wouldn't let me. It felt strange because feeding a dog shouldn't require any special power, yet the interaction simply didn't work.
I found a telephone booth and used it to transfer the spirits I had collected. I wasn't sure if I could actually do it without my hero's powers, but the transfer was successful nonetheless.
I spotted a Rain Walker checking cars for lingering spirits or humans. Using the only power I had left, stealth, I approached him quietly and took him down without being detected.
I managed to absorb some spirits found on the ground floor of a building. Even without my primary strength, I was still able to gather these lost souls as I moved toward my objective.
I noticed a Tengu on top of a building and tried to see if I could still perform a grapple. Unfortunately, the ability was locked, leaving the rooftops completely out of my reach.
At last, I reached KK's apartment. The journey wasn't as difficult as I had initially feared it would be while playing without my powers, as long as I stayed out of sight.
After getting inside the apartment, Akito became incredibly confused. The interior appeared as if it were sitting in the middle of a vast, silent ocean, defying all logic.
He noticed a lady sitting at the desk. Her presence was unexpected and scared Akito, as she seemed just as confused and displaced as the room itself.
The lady turned around, and Akito recognized her from a portrait of KK he had seen during a previous visit. He realized then that she was a close friend or associate of KK.
The lady handed Akito a thin purse, telling him it was important and asking him to give it to KK once they found him. She mentioned it was urgent.
As soon as Akito took the item, the entire apartment changed. The lady disappeared, and the purse was no longer in his hand, leaving him alone in the shifting reality once again.

Akito moving through the rainy streets using only stealth was really dangerous. It showed the tension perfectly when he had no powers to rely on. You need to be more careful.
That shifting reality in the apartment was incredibly trippy. It captured how much Akito's reality is warping while he's separated from KK.
