After the tragic end of Arthur's journey, the prologue began with John, Abigail, and Jack traveling toward Strawberry. John explored the town and secured a job at the local supply store while Abigail found work at the doctor's office. Before starting his new life, John took a moment to admire the town's scenery.

The prologue started right after Arthur's passing, opening with some truly beautiful shots of the landscape. The shift in tone felt massive as the world moved on from the chaos of the mountain.

I was shown a family riding a wagon toward Strawberry. It was a relief to see that John, Abigail, and young Jack had actually made it out alive and were trying to start over.

Once I got access to photo mode, I took a closer look at the characters. John had grown a pretty gruesome beard and looked quite different from how he appeared earlier in the story.

I had to drive the wagon into Strawberry. After arriving in the heart of the town, we stopped by a shop so John could finally look for some honest work to support his family.

Abigail mentioned she was going to the doctor's chamber to look for work herself, taking Jack along with her. Meanwhile, I started walking toward the supply store to see what was available.

I noticed a board asking for workers, so I headed inside. John had a conversation with the store manager and successfully landed a job, marking a big change from his outlaw days, with a new name.

Before starting the shift, I had to find Abigail to share the good news. I left the wagon behind and walked over to the doctor's office where she was waiting.

Abigail and Jack came out just as I arrived. She revealed that she had also secured a job there, and John told her about his own success, though he mentioned they would need to move further out.

Before getting back to the wagon to start this new normal life, I stopped for a moment. I took in all the small, beautiful details of Strawberry that I had never really noticed during the intense parts of the gang's story.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

STOPJohn Marston, trying to start a new life with his family, feels peaceful. Arthur Morgan was dead so they needed to be careful.
That peaceful feeling really makes those moments stand out after everything that happened before. John finally getting a small piece of normal life felt earned.
Watching John Marston and Abigail Roberts working makes me feel good. It shows they truly want to leave their old life behind. Small moments like this make the story real and meaningful.
Those simple scenes often carry more emotion than big action moments. I liked that part.
