After Jack fell from his horse, I checked on him and we continued our ride to the stream at a safer pace. John challenged Jack to a race back to the ranch, where I willingly let the kid win to see him happy. After a peaceful night, Abigail left for her job in Strawberry, and John headed out to begin a new day.

Right after the kid fell off the horse, I stopped and got off my horse to check on him immediately. John asked him to get on his pony again, mentioning it was nothing and that he would be just fine.

This time, I didn't push him hard at all because I already learned from my mistake earlier. We moved at a safer pace as we reached the stream where Jack wanted to go. It was a calm moment where we could just listen to the water and enjoy the fresh air together without any more accidents.

After checking on the beautiful weather there, John challenged Jack for a race back to the ranch. We turned the horses around and started picking up speed across the open fields. After riding for a moment, I went ahead of the kid to show him how it was done.

Then I started acting like the real father of Jack as I moved my horse behind him. I did this willingly to let him win the race so he could feel proud of his riding skills. I watched him pull ahead, and I could tell he was trying very hard to stay in the lead as we approached the ranch.

I let the kid win the race, which made him a lot happy. He was so excited and kept repeating that he had beaten me fairly. I could see the pure joy in his eyes as he cheered, and seeing him that way made me feel happy as well. It was a great bonding moment for them after a rough start.

They had a tiresome night after all the excitement of the day. The scene changed to show a beautiful sunrise over the ranch the next morning. A chicken was cooing loudly to wake up the people on the farm, marking the start of another day in this peaceful and quiet life we were trying to build.

Abigail made coffee for the boys to help them wake up. After they finished their drinks, she left them behind to head into Strawberry. She had to go do her job at the doctor's chamber.

Then John went out of the house to start a new day and look for a new mission, while I was wondering what kind of trouble or adventure was waiting for me.

I checked them but didn't try them as I normally use hivesigner to login which is not an option.
I liked hStats, though.
@izuki.midoriya Understood.
We'll work on integrating support for login based on hive-signer.

Seeing Jack's excitement after beating John is definitely the highlight of the post. It's those small details that should make the relationship between the two feel so meaningful as they build their new life.
It was a dad feel, man.
It was a smart move to slow down the pace after the accident. It gave the scene a chance to breathe, and letting Jack enjoy the stream without any more stress.
Right. Thanks for commenting.
This was such a heartwarming part of the story. John always cares for Jack. After the fall and then letting him win the race, it captured that father & son bond.
I started to care for Jack as well, being the best version of John.
The game has become more peaceful than before. This vibe in this gameplay really feels different. From the calm moment by the stream to that joyful race back home, everything felt so real.
Yeah, its like I'm trying a completely different game for the story.
