Tracking the Bounty.

John followed Abigail to Strawberry in a cinematic sequence before splitting up to track their bounty. After questioning a worker and visiting the general store, I was directed to the welcome center. I located room 3 on the upper floor, but the target leaped from the balcony upon entry.

John followed Abigail the rest of the route toward Strawberry in the cinematic framework, for I didn't have to control him at all. The horses trotted along the mountain passes automatically while the dynamic camera captured the breathtaking scenery of the valley below.

After reaching a Strawberry, they splitted to look around for the target independently. I started questioning people around the main street, asking townspeople if they had seen a strange man from New York lately.

After questioning one who didn't have the answer to my queries, I questioned this worker who knew one or two things about recent guests. He paused his work with the timber and told me I could find answer in the general store.

Then I noticed the general store was right behind him, so I walked in and asked the store manager about my target. He suggested me to check on the welcome center across the creek.

The welcome center was not so far from the shop, so I walked there to continue my investigation. I found it a two-story building that was like a motel, with a large wooden porch overlooking the rushing waters of the local river network.

After getting inside, I found the manager of the center, whom John detailed the target. He sighed and said the man I was looking for is staged at room 3, so I was walking to the floor above.

After getting to the floor above by using the interior wooden staircase, I noticed there were only a few rooms lining the balcony. I walked up to the correct door and I started knocking on room 3 loudly, demanding the man step outside.

After knocking for some time, no one opened the door to face me. So I kicked it open with a heavy boot strike, and I found our target jumping off the balcony and started escaping the place.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

The investigation section felt like an actual detective mission from a movie. The hunt feels natural, like you were going from the townspeople to the worker and to the general store, searching every corner.

The buildup to room 3 was done really nicely. The quiet hallway, and then suddenly seeing the target leap from the balcony, created a cinematic mode at the end of the post.
