Today I have a new chapter of Dragon Quest Builders 2, where this time, my objective for the day was to search for iron ore. However, since the miners wanted to explore the mines a little more, given the circumstances, I had to upgrade my wooden mallet to an iron one, as I couldn't destroy all the stone blocks that were previously very resistant to my hammer blows.
Previously, I had leveled up the base to level 2, where many miners appeared, ready to explore the mines and gather the minerals we need for the great rock beast, which wants to stop being rock and become copper. So, I had to gather a lot of minerals to advance in the game's main mission.
So, once everyone had joined the mines, we began to explore their depths a little further, where we came to an earthen wall. I could have simply used my wood hammer to break through this wall, but I found it easier to use one of the bombs I was given and others I found in a chest.
By blowing up the earth wall, I was able to explore to the other side to find iron ore. After walking a bit, I found a small puzzle that I had to solve to acquire in-game currency. I could use it to redeem it and unlock new building blocks.
The puzzle here was easy; I just had to place the objects in their respective places and that was it. Luckily, the ground glows when you place an object in its corresponding spot, making it much easier to place objects in one of these puzzles.
The rooms I had to arrange to complete the puzzle were amazing, as the decorations looked beautiful. I hope to unlock things like this in the future. I want to create amazing things on my island.
I continued exploring the mine until we found the iron ore. It was on top of the scaffolding there, so I had to move some blocks and create new ones to climb through the scaffolding and reach the iron ore.
Then I went out to deliver the iron ore to the blacksmith NPC who ordered it from me. But as I left, I noticed a box buried in the sand in the distance. It caught my attention, and I wanted to capture it to show you.
After leaving with my hands full of iron ore, I headed to the Blacksmith NPC, who had asked me to bring him some minerals for inspection. At that point, I learned how to create a large iron-shattering hammer. I could now tear down completely resistant stone walls with it.
I was surprised by the incredible power of this hammer, as I'd been wanting to see if I could create a much stronger hammer for a while.
