I had to search for a way into the maintenance sector for the next mission, but I was a little lost as I didn't know where to go next, and the map was not helping either. I had to take help from a gameplay on YouTube to find my bearings.
After checking out gameplay on YouTube, I understood I had to head straight towards the sector elevator to get into the maintenance sector. On my way, I noticed there was a big portrait of Jesse on a wall, marking her new role within the Bureau.
After getting into the sector elevator, I had to choose the maintenance sector access corridor. The screen showed the back of the janitor, Ahti, hinting that he was nearby and could help me navigate the strange, industrial depths of the building's lower levels.
After getting into the correct floor, I had to find Ahti, the janitor, as he could help me raise the override. I moved through the dark, concrete halls, listening for the sound of his radio or the rhythmic scratching of his mop against the floor.
I found this room that needed a keycard of clearance level 2, so I couldn't unlock it, as I only had a keycard of clearance level 1. I made a mental note to return here once my authority within the Federal Bureau of Control is increased.
I kept moving ahead, following the navigation symbols on the walls. In this place, I could see a lot of people floating in mid-air, and it looked like they would be my enemies later once the Hiss resonance fully takes hold of them.
Upon reaching that point, I noticed a Hiss soldier was walking in the corridor. I threw a heavy object at him with my launch ability, watching the kinetic force slam into him and take him down before he could raise his weapon to fire.
Then there came another one, and he was running right at me with aggressive intent. I started shooting him with my service weapon, and I took him down with a few well-placed shots as the gun transformed in my hand to match my needs.
I went ahead, and I noticed there were a lot more of them shooting at me. I started hitting them with objects, but I noticed someone threw a grenade towards me, so I ran back as fast as I could to avoid the explosive blast.
Then I reached this control point that I could cleanse, so I decided to do it, as I needed to do it anyway to secure the sector. The red Hiss energy evaporated into white light as I reclaimed the area for the Bureau.
After the place was cleansed, I went back to see if anything changed behind, but nothing happened. I then came back to the control point, where I saw navigation symbols that said the Janitor's Office was to the right, giving me a clear direction.
