I navigated the underground maintenance area to fix the NSC coolant pumps, fending off waves of Hiss soldiers along the way. After repairing two pumps, I encountered a toxic blockage in the third. I carefully cleared the swarms from a distance to avoid the poison, completing the cooling objective.

After cleansing the area, I ran towards the door indicating the NSC coolant pumps. I found myself on a steep path leading down into a dark, industrial underground area.

There were some Hiss soldiers on my way that I started taking down immediately. I mostly used my launch ability to hurl rocks and debris at them before they could react.

While I was fighting another Hiss soldier with melee attacks, I used the photo mode to take a shot of his face. It was actually quite creepy to see the corruption up close.

I reached the pumps area at last and noticed many Hiss soldiers floating in the air. I kept a close eye on them, knowing they might descend at any moment to attack.

I had to fix the pump there and noticed a power core nearby. I used my launch ability to slot the core into the socket, successfully powering up the first cooling unit.

After I fixed that pump, more soldiers arrived to stop me from progressing. I had to use all my power, combining my service weapon and Launch, to take them all down.

After fixing the second pump, floating demons appeared to ambush me. I threw heavy obstacles at them, causing them to explode mid-air while keeping a safe distance from the blasts.

I went for the third and last pump, but it was not fixable right away. Ahti mentioned his old enemy was blocking the pipes, referring to the strange, shifting Clog growth.

I went ahead to fix the pipe and realized I had to maintain my distance. I died on my first try because the growth was emitting a lethal poison that drained my health.

The entire pipe system was blocked by the swarms of the Clog. I entered the pipes carefully and cleared the masses with my service gun while staying in the safe zones.

After clearing the last swarms, I walked closer as the corruption vanished in front of me. I fixed the last pump, marking half of the directorial override job as complete.

The floating enemies and the corrupted faces make the scene very creepy. The pump repairs feel important because the power of the building depends on them.

This part of the mission feels intense. The underground area was scary and lonely. Fighting the Hiss soldiers while moving deeper into the facility creates strong tension. Well played brother, keep sharing for interesting post.

The fight with the toxic Clog sounds very challenging. Dying once and trying again makes the victory feel earned. Keeping a distance from the poison while clearing the pipes shows careful thinking.
