I pursued the hotline after a creature escaped, but a fatal fall forced me to redo a difficult combat encounter. Upon returning, I manipulated the environment to enter the Oceanview Motel and Casino. After solving a bell-ringing puzzle and finding a key, I accessed a bridge that led to the hotline.

After the creepy flying creature escaped through that command room, I went inside, and I found the door to the hotline chamber. I felt a sense of urgency as the ringing echoed through the concrete halls. I moved toward the entrance, ready to face whatever psychological barriers lay between me and the director’s voice.

I ran fast towards the hotline chamber as I heard the hotline keep ringing. I reached a place where I could see the shadow of the ex-director projected against the wall. The hotline was there across a long gap, but the distance felt distorted and unsettling as I approached the ledge.
I jumped into the gap by mistake, and I died instantly. Upon restart, I fought that creepy creature again

This time, I noticed a switch that I could press to change the environment. At first, the color changed, revealing the hotline clearly before the whole place shifted into a completely different location.

Suddenly, I was in the Oceanview Motel and Casino, which I had to traverse. There I noticed a ring switch on a desk, but there were no souls around in the silent hallways.

It became difficult for me to understand the puzzle at first. At last, I cracked that bell switch, which would open up different doors in the motel. I found a key hidden in a room after doing that, which seemed to be the only way to progress.

After grabbing the key, I went back to the start of the motel alley, and there was a room that I had to open up. Inside, there was another switch to interact with. I felt the reality around me beginning to warp once again as I reached for the cord.

After pressing that switch once or twice, the motel disappeared, and I found myself on a bridge towards the hotline. The path was finally clear, and I could at last reach the ringing phone. I picked up the receiver, ready to listen to the messages from the other side.
