Following a successful dual standoff alongside Ryuzo, I engaged a large Mongol ambush. I repeatedly saved Ryuzo from being overwhelmed, bypassed chasing soldiers to eliminate problematic archers, and effectively switched combat stances to defeat a heavy Mongols before personally executing the Mongol leader while Ryuzo observed the duel.
So we faced dual standoff right as the Mongols rushed from the bushes, but I got one and Ryuzo got one as well. And I went for the first one with a swift slice, and Ryuzo followed me in taking down the other one.
Then both of us started taking care of the remaining Mongols scattered across the woods. Our blades moved in perfect synchronization, deflecting incoming spears and cutting down the front line before they could form a proper perimeter.
After going a little distance to chase a runner, I noticed Ryuzo was getting surrounded by several aggressive spearmen. So I went back to him and helped him, striking his attackers from behind to relieve the immense pressure.
Then I noticed more Mongols around, but I decided to take care of an archer first who was loading arrows. So I ran to him when some Mongols were on my tail, thinking they were chasing me.
I took down that archer right after getting close to him with a swift strike, ending the ranged threat. And then I fought some more Mongols, and I took care of a swordsman by parrying his opening overhead attack.
There came more archers and a heavy shieldman blocking the path, so I had to switch into stances and look for the right one to take care of them easily, transitioning smoothly to break their guards.
Then I noticed Ryuzo was surrounded by some strong enemies again. So I ran to him and I joined the battle there, drawing the attention of the heavily armored dual-sword wielders.
I were taking care of some Mongols while navigating the chaotic muddy ground. Both of us struggled it against the leader of these Mongols.
Ryuzo did his part to thin the guard ranks, and then I managed to take down the leader on my own with a brutal final execution. And Ryuzo stopped behind to check how I do in the battle, admiring the technique.
