After the war general accidentally fell from the high ground, I defeated his heavy guard before engaging the general in a final duel. Following a failed attempt to use fire and smoke bombs, I finally took him down in open combat. I completed the location by exploding a supply cart.
The war general somehow fell off the high ground during the chaos, which gave me a rare chance to fight the heavy guard alone without being double-teamed.
It got a lot easier, to be honest, because I could focus entirely on breaking the armored guard's defense without worrying about a sword in my back.
When I was killing down the heavy guard, the war general was still away, struggling to find his way back. At last, he was coming towards me just as I was done taking care of his last bodyguard in the center of the camp.
I let the war general attack me at the beginning of our duel as I planned to dodge his attacks and learn his pattern. When he finally got tired and his guard dropped, I struck him with some quick slashes.
I lured him towards this campfire during the middle of the fight and tried to burn him alive to end the duel quickly. I pushed him back toward the flames, but the game didn't give me the option to burn him alive, sadly.
Then I used a smoke bomb around me to confuse him and create a thick cloud that obscured his vision. I got a chance to assassinate him, but I missed the window to trigger the killing blow.
I had to fight him again in a standard duel, and I fought him well until I finally shed his last drop of blood. I stood by him for a moment, catching my breath as the silence returned to replace the sounds of clashing metal.
I was done taking care of all the objectives of this location, but I had to ignite and explode this supply cart at last to fully complete the mission.
After the cart got exploded in a massive shower of sparks and wood, Jin was seen staring at the place while the location's objective was officially marked as completed.
And then Jin spent a peaceful night with his horse in the quiet place just outside the ruined camp. It was a rare moment of rest for the Ghost, sitting by his loyal companion and preparing for the long road that still lay ahead of them.

Well played friend. Defeating the heavy guard first was the smartest move. Once the armored bodyguard was gone, you could focus on the general without worrying about being unwanted attack.

The general falling off the ledge was a lucky break that changed the whole fight. Being able to focus 100% on the heavy guard allowed you to showcase your techniques without the constant threat of a second attacker, that was inevitable a moment earlier.
Yeah, that guard was unlucky in that sense.
Exploding the supply cart to complete the location was the perfect finishing touch. After all the fighting, watching the camp burn while Jin rested beside his horse gave the mission a strong ending.
I actually didn't know about the supply cart until it was time to blow it up.
The final open duel felt earned because of everything that happened before it. Learning his attack pattern, dodging patiently, and slowly taking him down made the victory satisfying.
