I infiltrated the Old Trading Post through a gap in the fence, witnessing Mongol cruelty from the rooftops. After winning a standoff at the entrance and ending a suffering guard's life, I cleared the interior and rescued a woman from torture.
I defeated the Mongol leader and the final guard before departing.

After surveying the area from the outside, I found a hole through the fence that I used to squeeze inside. I climbed onto the roof of a building and noticed the Mongols were torturing people.

I had to eliminate one of the Mongols in a standoff to fulfill my objective. I went back outside to look for a target since I could not initiate the duel from the rooftop.

One of the Mongols at the entrance came forward for a standoff. I took him down easily, and it looked like he was trying to tell me something as he fell to the ground.

I noticed that the Mongol did not die instantly from the strike. He was suffering and trying to cling to life, so I moved in to end his suffering.

I went back inside and heard someone screaming for mercy from the interior of a building. I moved through the open window and noticed a Mongol was torturing a lady in the room.

I crouched toward the Mongol quietly and took him down before he could react. I rescued the woman, but she ran out so fast that I lost sight of her while checking the perimeter.

I only had to take down the rest of the Mongols to secure the post. I noticed a Mongol leader and tried a trick to distract him, but it did not work.

I had to face the leader directly in combat. Without giving him a chance to attack back, I kept striking with all my power and slayed him before he knew what happened.

I noticed there was only a single Mongol remaining who was guarding another entrance. I moved up and kicked the big man down quietly from behind to finish the job.

My work on this Mongol territory was done for the day. I was riding out of the place toward my next destination, thinking about the transition of a samurai becoming an assassin.

I liked how you handled the standoff at the entrance. It is always a good way to start a fight and thin out the numbers early on. The way that guard was trying to reach to you while dying was too much realistic.
A standoff at the entrance always feels dramatic. That animation made the scene feel realistic for sure.
I noticed your trick with the leader did not work, but your raw power in the direct fight definitely got the job done regardless.
Yeah, that trick failed, but the fight still turned out well in the end.
I appreciate that you took the time to end the suffering of the guard after the standoff. It shows that you hold onto some of a Samurai's principles.
For a Samurai, it's a quiet act of respect after a brutal fight. For me, I don't want them to breathe.
The rooftop observation before attacking was very smart. Moments like this show the stealth atmosphere of Ghost of Tsushima.
The game really shines during those calm planning moments. It is always satisfying to study the area first before starting the attack.
Using the standoff skill at the start of the fight is a great move. Jin Sakai handled the Mongol warrior with perfect timing.
The tension right before the strike always makes those fights feel dramatic. BTW, it was not Jin, it was me who handled the Mongol with the stand-off.
