The contest themes of @gamingphoto helps us seeing things in a video game that we normally ignore.
I traveled to the Adachi Estate to find Lady Masako, only to be ambushed by mysterious attackers. After tracking horse footprints through the golden forest, I found a fallen horse and finally met Masako. Jin delivered the grim news of her husband's death, beginning our alliance to save Shimura.
After traveling to the Adachi Estate, I hoped to find the warriors of the clan. Jin called out for Lady Masako, but the silence was immediately unsettling.

When I was walking ahead, some armed people came out to attack me. It felt like a coordinated ambush, though I noticed these people were neither Mongols nor common bandits.

These people still had the courage to fight me, so I gave them a good fight and took them all down. I even tested out the new high kick skill I recently unlocked.

I had to check around for clues after the battle. I went inside a room where I found signs of struggle, and it looked like people had escaped through the window in a hurry.

Jin mentioned he should check the stables because survivors might flee on horseback. There were no horses left, and the ground was filled with arrows, indicating a heavy struggle.

I started exploring and found horse tracks leading out of the estate. I followed the footprints while riding my horse, hoping they would lead me to any surviving members of the clan.

The sun started setting while I was heading through the golden forest. I suddenly found a dead horse, and Jin confirmed that this horse belonged to Lady Masako.

While I was checking on the horse, Lady Masako suddenly appeared and was about to shoot Jin. She stopped just in time after seeing the familiar face through her bow's sight.

Masako was surprised to see Jin alive, as she heard no survivor escaped the beach. Jin gave her the news of her husband's death, and her tale officially started from there.

The golden forest looks stunning in your shots. You really have an eye for the small details that bring the game world to life. It's clear how much effort you put into finding unique moments to photograph.
Meeting Lady Masako like that was intense. The moment she almost shot Jin Sakai felt very dramatic. Delivering the news about her husband made the scene sad and emotional.
This mission in Ghost of Tsushima had such a strong emotional start. The silence at the Adachi Estate and sudden ambush created instant tension. The golden forest at sunset must have looked beautiful for the Gaming Photography theme. Well done.

The way you highlighted the ambush and aftermath made the tension almost cinematic. I loved how you capture the story moments.
Following the horse tracks through the golden forest looks so immersive in your photos. It looks like a mini-adventure on its own. Your photography makes the game feel alive.
