My journey to Azamo Bay for Tadayori's armor was interrupted by a fierce bear that unfortunately overpowered me. After returning to the path, I took down a skilled Mongol patrol and intercepted a group of bandits. Despite my victory over the outlaws, I arrived too late to save their initial innocent targets.

I was riding toward Azamo Bay, where the legendary archer's armor is said to be hidden. Along the way, I spotted a massive wild bear in the open who could be fatal for people in the future.

I stopped to deal with the animal. After dodging its initial attacks, my first move was a heavy kick to its back, trying to create some distance and throw it off balance.

The bear took the hit personally and started attacking with renewed ferocity. I had to stay light on my feet, dodging its heavy paws repeatedly just to stay alive in the middle of the trail.

I thought I had a moment to catch my breath and heal up since I had enough supplies, but the bear suddenly overpowered me, taking me down before I could recover.

After getting back on the trail, I didn't see the bear again. Instead, I ran into a Mongol patrol that was heavily armed and seemingly waiting for something.

I challenged the group's captain to a standoff. My timing was perfect, and I took him down with a single, clean strike before the rest of his men could react.

The remaining Mongols were surprisingly well-trained, with most of them wielding dual swords. Their aggressive style made them much harder to manage than the standard soldiers I've faced before.

Once the patrol was cleared, I searched their nearby wagon. I found a cache of supplies and guessed they might have been in the middle of a trade or a supply run.

I continued my ride toward Azamo Bay but was suddenly ambushed by a group of bandits who just butchered some peasats. They clearly weren't expecting a samurai to be the one coming down the road.

I went for the swordsman first to clear the immediate threat. All the while, the archers in the back were desperately trying to pin me down with arrows from a distance.

Once the melee fighter was down, I closed the gap on the archers. I took them out one by one with some particularly brutal actions, making sure they wouldn't be ambushing anyone else.

After the dust settled, I found the bodies of several peasants that had been the bandits' initial targets. I really wish I could have arrived a few moments sooner to save them from such a pointless end.

I really liked the journey part of this post. Traveling toward Azamo Bay while facing unexpected dangers made the adventure feel alive.
Thanks for the words.
The combat moments were very exciting to read. The fight with the bear was hard and dangerous, especially when it overpowered you.
I hope it was exciting to watch and see as well.
It is a shame the massive bear managed to overpower you, but taking a stand to protect future travelers shows a true samurai's heart. The brutal takedown of those bandit archers was well-deserved after what they did.
It was totally my fault cause I took the bear as a weak animal.
It was a dark twist to be ambushed by bandits who had already harmed the local peasants. Closing the gap on those archers and finishing them off was a necessary act of justice for the lives lost on that road.
Right you are.
