The Road to Castle Kaneda - Days Gone.

in Gaming Photography22 days ago

Jin and Yuna marched to Castle Kaneda to rescue Lord Shimura. Fighting through waves of Mongols, I showed my skill in brutal standoffs. But at the bridge, Khotun Khan himself appeared, overpowering Jin in a fierce duel. Despite a bold strike to Khan's face, Jin was defeated and cast into the ocean.

Jin and Yuna road a long way from Komoda Town to Castle Kaneda, where Shimura was taken hostage.

Leaving the horses behind, we started walking on foot and noticed dead bodies of samurai on our way.

Yuna was planning to cause a distraction and sneak in but Jin was all about walking in the front gate and face his enemies.

When I was approaching the territory, I challenged the enemies for a stand-off and one of them came forward. I slayed him down smoothly.

I defeated the other Mongols there perfectly, without giving them a chance to hit me. Then Yuna joined me and there came more Mongols and I slayed them on our way forward.

I had to push through the castle to save the uncle and those Mongols were having their worst nightmare with my stabs. I was like slaying them down like they're nothing.

When I was fighting the last Mongols there, I was shot with fire arrows and the Mongols from above were shooting those. But I survived and I took care of the rest of them.

Yuna didn't want to keep going like this so Jin asked her to keep the path clear after falling back as they'd need a quick escape after finding Shimura.

I cut through more Mongols on my way.

When I was close to the entrance of the bridge that goes to the main castle premises, I noticed an archer was shooting at me. After dodging his arrows, I took him down.

Then I climbed up on the entrance tower and I noticed there were some Mongols on the other side of the bridge.

I had to cross the bridge so I jumped off the tower and challenged the Mongols with a stand-off. After slitting the throat of the first one, I fought well with the rest and took them down.

Jin screamed with the name of Khotun Khan and the big villain came out of the castle taking Shimura along. Before sending Shimura back inside, Khotun Khan said he'll show Shimura his nephew broken and humiliated, begging to join the Mongol Empire.

Khotun Khan came to fight me and I was doing good till I kept dodging his attacks. But when I was attacking him, he'd dodge and attack me at once.

I understood, both I and Jin were no match for Khotun Khan, not now. I still tried my best to deal with him. Jin lost his health and then Khotun Khan wanted to give him one last chance but Jin did a cut on Khotun's cheek.

Khotun got angry and chocked Jin before throwing him off the bridge alive. Jin couldn't do anything about that, but accepting his fate.

This game is visually and narratively brilliant. I remember walking into my parents' room a while ago and seeing them watching it on YouTube as if it were a movie. It was very funny, but I didn't want to ruin their illusion. If that's how they saw it and felt about it, why should I make them see it differently?
Personally, I haven't played it, but I would love to see those landscapes firsthand and experience the same adventures you share. Thank you.

Haha, that’s a great story, it really does feel like a movie at times. I hope you get to experience it yourself someday.

One of the things I love about this video game are the moments when you kill your enemy with a single blow, that is, by executing them. The realism of your character when he stabs his opponent with his sword is fascinating, so much so that you can see the blood gushing out of his mouth when he is killed. Wow, this episode was full of action.

Yeah, those one-blow kills (stand-offs) are brutal but fit the atmosphere well. I'm glad you enjoyed the action.

Those battles you captured look amazing. I can see that this game is all about wars. Not only that, but there are also beautiful landscapes. These moments you had in this episode look amazing. Thanks for sharing.
